What's It like living in a world,

where goodbye could mean till tomorrow or forever?

A world where I love you doesn't mean a thing?

Living a life where I'm sorry is just a jerking of the knee?

Where words are all lies,

and trust easily dies,

falling forward,

only to be pulled up by a rope,

though it never existed from the start.

I scribbled into my notebook the lyrics to a new song for the band to work on once I get out of this metal box, or in other words, a prison for the Innocent. I kind of like the sound of that.

I just want to escape from this place,

all it is,

is a prison for the Innocent,

the words just started flowing out.

I bet you couldn't guess that it was time,

to pull the knife out of my back,

and stitch up my throat,

which you have slit,

It was so hard to see what I was writing with only the dim light of the moon, and hard to focus with the roaring snores of at least three of the girls. I just stare at the white lined paper in front of me. So far off in my own world to see that Hail had come to sit next to me until he spoke.

"I like it ,Jazz, Is this an original?"  he asked

"Yeah, as soon as I get out of this metal cage, I'm going to work on it with my band." I smiled down at the paper

"Well, this only shows how much you hate this place, however this is going to be amazing when it's done." I stared harder at the page trying to think of the next words.

I forgot Hail was there because I was glaring at the paper for so long.

"If you stare at the page for any longer you may just burn a hole through it." He smirked

"Well Mr. Cocky, if you think you can do better be my guest." I handed him the pen

Hail gladly accepted the pen and took the notebook from my hands and angled it away from me. and scribbled down some words before handing it back.

How did you forget about me,

the one who cared,

the one would nursed out out of misery?

"Not bad" I shrugged beginning to give up for the night

"You already tired? It's only 11." He stated

"As if I could sleep through these whores snores.Hey that kind of rhymed!" I smiled at my observation

"Well, since the guys aren't much better, Why don't you tell me a bit about your self?" I rolled my eyes

"Well, my name is Jazmin Maria. I am the lead singer and song writer in my band called Forever We Are, our genre is kind of a punk rock and pop mix that sometimes has a little bit of rap and scream in them, neither of which are done by me. All through high school I was and still am a DJ. I'm hoping to go to collage so I could be a singer, music teacher, or choreographer. I live with my older sister Gail. My favorite color is gray. I just finished high school last month. I work at a movie theater. I have three pet dogs, and a parrot who has memorized and trying to rap, scream and sing along with our songs in the band. How about you?"
