Logans POV
I walked back to the room after I had finished a phone call with my manager Jeff
" What did the midwife say?" I asked as I sat down
"I want to know who my mom is and I want to know right now" said lexi sounding serious
"Lexi we have talked about this , your mother was a bad person, I don't want you growing up like that , besides you have me and you've got a perfectly good family " I said
"Why won't you let me see my mom? Am I even allowed to know her name? I've got a right to see my own mom dad and you can't stop me so if you don't tell me then I will find out myself!" Shouted Lexi
"Look your mom was a bad person, I don't want you knowing her because she's in gangs , gangs that kill people okay " I shouted at her
Lexi just stared at me and went quiet
I looked at my phone for the next 10 minutes but quickly looked up to see lexi in pain
"I'll go get the nurse" I said as I quickly went to get the nurse
"Dr Eva Lexi's in pain " I said to her
"Okay I'll come and see her now" said Dr Eva as we started walking back to the room
"Dad it hurts" said lexi as she cried
"Okay, lexi I'm just going to get you to lie down on your back and just put your feet on these pegs please" said the nurse as lexi did what the nurse said
"Ah, I think it's time, I'll just go get some things and some more nurses then we can start" said Dr Eva as she left the room
"I'm scared dad" said lexi as I quickly rushed to her side and held her hand
"Everything will be okay, I promise" I said
I was terrified for her, I hated seeing her in this much pain, I hate it when she cries and I hate when she's scared , seeing her be in all of those was terrifiying
"Okay lexi, it's time " said Dr Eva and 3 others nurses with 1 pushing a trolley with stuff on came into the room
4 hours later
"1 last push and that is it over!" Said Dr Eva as lexi pushed
"Come lexi you can do it" I said to her
" Okay , get the baby down to icu right now! We have a small heart beat!" Shouted Dr Eva as 2 nurses took the baby off
"What's happened?" I asked as Dr Eva finished everything
"Basically we have found a very small heart beat and we belive the baby could still be alive so she has been taken down to icu to be put on Life Support" said Dr Eva as lexi sat up
"She? Is it a girl?" Asked lexi
" Yep a little girl " said the nurse
"Oh " said lexi
After the nurse left the room was silent for ages .
