I just met my roommate. Her name is Grace (but call me Gracie) and she is the sweetest person I've ever met. And that's saying a lot. I'm from Smalltown, Georgia, where sweet is the norm.
Gracie's friend Hope dropped her off and we all hung out for a while. Turns out they both want to be actresses too! We have a lot in common, except for one small thing. They're lesbians! And they're TOGETHER!
I've never met anybody gay before. At least not that I'm aware of. People keep that stuff to themselves in Smalltown.
I was a little weirded out when I found out about them. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with gay people, but Grace and I are going to be sharing a bedroom, seeing each other naked, or partially naked. Will she be checking me out? Is she going to be fantasizing about me? Do I need to change in the bathroom? (We have our own private bathroom!!!)
What am I so worried about? I might not even be her type! Like I said, it's just weird. I'm sure I'll get over it.
