It was the hottest summer of 2017, and my second performance for Elvis 56, in Memphis, Tennessee when I first met her. MaryJane was my opening act for each show of that tour. Before that day, I had only be able to watch her rehearse from behind the scenes when I was supposed to be preparing for my performances. I hadn't had the chance to speak to her or let her know of my appreciation. However that was about to change. On that day in September, we happened to be behind schedule, which caused everyone to be in a rush. That's when I met her. As I was preparing for my act, MaryJanes name was called out on stage by David Fontana, but she was running late. From the corridor I heard her voice call out "Shoot I'm late". As she was rushing to meet her cue she accidentally bumped into me. That was when our long awaited first conversation happened.
