Malera was 15 at the time but, oddly enough she loved to smile. A LOT. Even after her mother had continued to abuse her. One day, her mother got sick and tired of the endless happiness that came from her daughter and her smile. She took Malera's sharp sewing scissors one day and cut open the left side of Malera's face from the corner of her lip to her cheekbone. Despite the pain and the blood loss, she stitched herself up after the cutting. But, when she tried to smile, the stitches would tear, enabling her wound to heal and mend. Infuriated with her face and her inability to smile, she became angry at her mother. Using the same scissors that tore her smile, she cut her mom to pieces then, for fun and the fact she had lost all sense of sanity, she stitched her back together like a piece of clothing. Hence her first name: Seamstress.
Her victims are at random. And with each one of them, a smile was stitched into their lips, giving them a slight crazy look as if they enjoyed their death. Hence Stitchy Smiles. She killed a total of 73 people in a week. Making it her record, she dared the other creepy pasta's to try to beat that. When she met Slenderman after slaughtering a family of four, taking her in due to her abilities and worth. And when he did, Malera carved the proxy symbol onto the back of her left hand. She considers Slender as the father she never had, despite his silent and cold manner. Malera's close friends are Laughing Jack, Jeff The Killer, and Homicidal Liu due to their appearances and traits. She despises Jane The Killer and the Bloody Painter.
She likes to sew clothes, climb trees, laugh if she can, smile, kill without mercy, and sometimes tease Jeff about his 'smile'. She doesn't work with any of them unless on orders from Slender and only then. Malera doesn't like the rules that go with a proxy but, follows them...some of them anyway.
If you make fun of her stitches, expect some for yourself. Her name was given to her by Jeff due to her love for Alice and Wonderland's Mad Hatter. Hence MAD Malera.
