Well at least we get to go spend time with grandma and see how they are but one thing is for sure I have to talk to mom about dad and dad about mom but first thing is first I'm gonna relax and spend time with my granny I wonder how dad is gonna take it that mom is engaged

The Next Day
Reba got a call from Luke's ex-wife Carolyn which caught Reba off guard because she never called her until now
Reba- hello Bryan residence
Carolyn- hello where is Luke
Reba- he is currently busy
Carolyn- with what (she said with attitude Reba could hear it in her voice so she decided to take it up a bit)
Reba- our children is there something you would like me to tell him so he can return your call
Carolyn- yeah can you tell him that I need like five thousand dollars
Reba- for what (Reba asked in shock) you basically have everything you need in that house
Carolyn- Its for personal reasons
Reba- well I'm pretty sure hes gonna say no so I'll say it for him no
Carolyn- who do you think you are telling me no (she snapped)
Reba- I'm his wife
Carolyn- you will pay for this ( Reba just laughed and hung up the phone)
Reba immediately went into the room where Luke was and watched him sleep so she sat on his lap and gently kissed him which woke him up
Reba- rise and shine sleepyhead
Luke- I love you (he said putting his arms around her waist)
Reba- I love you more
Luke- I love you mostest
Reba- okay you win (she said as she laid her head on his)
Luke- don't you have something to do today?
Reba- not that I know of why?
Luke- cause I wanna go out and celebrate
Reba- celebrate what?
Luke- our engagement 💍
Reba- well what do you wanna do?
Luke- maybe post a video letting the fans know what's going on and then where we are going is a surprise
Reba- do I have to dress fancy?
Luke- no but wear what you wore on our first date
Reba- okay
Reba had no idea what Luke had planned but she was excited but scared at the same time so while Reba was getting ready Luke got a very fancy dinner ready on a table near the lake meanwhile Reba walks into an empty living room and decided to catch up on Empire so while she watched that Luke went inside the house
Luke- hey sexy
Reba- hi babe what you doin
Luke- I came to take my beautiful fiancé out
Reba- well I'm starving (luke pulled out a blindfold and put it over Reba's eyes)
Luke- I know how you hate surprises but this is something I have been planning for weeks
Reba- I bet it's gonna be the best thing ever (he carried her to the spot and then took the blindfold off of her and she was in shock the sun was setting there was a table and his truck with the tailgate down and everything set for a bond fire)
Luke- well what do you think??
Reba- I love it (she said as he pulled her seat out so she could be seated)
Luke- you look absolutely amazing
Reba- you look hot (she said and immediately started blushing)
Luke- your so cute when you blush
Reba Continued eating once they finished their meals they watched the sun go down and then Luke's friends showed up and started the bond fire and they did the exact same thing as they did on their first date Reba was in the back of Luke's truck with a couple of her friends and he was on the other side of the fire admiring her in every way possible so he couldn't take it anymore so he decided to go up to Reba but the difference this time was that she immediately went to the back of the truck, once Luke got into his truck it was immediately deja by for Reba she was up on top of truck singing her heart out and feeling the cool breeze against her skin which sent shivers down her spine once they arrived at the lake once more he carried her bridal style and fell backwards into the water the only difference this time was Reba didn't panic when she was in the water with him she just held on tighter to him when they came back to shore Luke handed Reba a towel to dry her hair they drove home while Reba sat extremely close to Luke, Reba sang the chorus to her song With You I Am

which sent shivers down Luke's spine and drove Luke insane when he heard his future wife's voice once they arrived home Luke carried Reba in as if they were just married and he held her extremely close and never broke eye contact with his beautiful fiance he carried her up to their bedroom and held her once they got to their room he kissed her like it was going to be the last time he was ever going to see her which led to a night filled of passion, love and happiness for being together and knowing they are meant to be together and that nothing can separate them not for the rest of their lives

Luke woke up and was able to sneak downstairs to make his lovely Fiance breakfast, Luke made Buttermilk pancakes, homemade whipped cream, scrambled eggs, sausage, and fresh coffee once everything was ready he made himself and his future wife a plate and carried a tray to set the food on the table next to the bed and he carried the food up to their bedroom to find his beautiful fiance still asleep the way he had left her he climbed on top her and woke her up with a big passionate kiss little did he know that she was already awake so once she wrapped her legs around his hips she flipped them over and started smothering him with kisses and she didn't realize that he had made them breakfast until he flipped them over to where he was on top of her and he put a small amount of whipped cream on her lips and licked it off while making out with her once they broke apart both completely out of breath they separated from each others bodies
Luke- I made breakfast for us babe
Reba- honey you didnt have to do that
Luke- I know but I wanted to suprise my bride
Reba- I love you
Luke- I love you more now lets eat before the food gets cold (he said pointing to the food on Reba's side of the bed)
once they ate Breakfast Reba went and took a shower while Luke got everything cleaned up and headed back to bed so he could watch television Reba came out of the bathroom with her pajamas on and her hair blow dried with her natural curls bouncing with every step she took she climbed back into bed and spent the rest of the day cuddling with the love of her life
