Chris.
"Hurry up Christopher you're gonna be late!" Mama demanded as I took my time making sure my cap and gown looked good in the mirror. "Mama it's only six, I don't have to be at the school until six thirty."
"And you know atlanta traffic is crazy, it's gonna be hell trying to find a parking spot and you're not gonna be able to walk because you were late so now they have to mail your diploma."
I sucked my teeth at her exaggeration and did one last take in the mirror. "I'll have a parking spot regardless, mama. I'm the Chris Brown. Ain't that right Silly Butt?" I kneeled down to fluff Royalty's hair. She smiled back up at me goofily and nodded.
"Yea well being the Chris Brown won't get you out of traffic so you better go now."
"Aight mama aight," after picking Ro up and kissing her in the forehead, I grabbed my keys off my coffee table. "Make sure you sit on the left side, that's where I'ma be 'cause of my last name. And make sure you lock my house up, I don't live in a white people neighborhood like you."
Mama shooed me off and pulled me into a hug. "I'ma lock your door boy. Now gone on. Congratulations and I love you."
"I love you too mama. I love you Ro Ro."
"I love you too daddy!" She exclaimed. I laughed at her enthusiasm and started to head out the door. "Hey, and talk to Riley boy!" Mama demanded. I ignored her request and left out my house. We haven't spoke or seen each other ever since I dropped her off that day, and no matter how much I texted or called I got no response from her stubborn ass. I planned on giving it one more shot at graduation if I see her, because I have something to tell her, but if she still acting funny I'ma just say fuck it.
I arrived at the Georgia Dome around six twenty and just as mama said, finding a parking spot was a bitch. Luckily though, graduates had a reserved lot. I parked my car in a spot and turned off the ignition, giving myself a once over in the rear view. I ain't even finna flex, a nigga looked good as fuck in a cap and gown. My earring looked good, beard and sideburns looked nice, and my new neck tattoo looked good. I looked scholarly as hell. Just as I was finna step out the car, somebody banged on my window. I glanced at who it was, seeing Tyga's goofy ass. I sucked my teeth and opened the door, knocking him out the way. "Nigga you play too much."
He laughed and dapped me up. "Yo' ass almost shitted on yo'self, didn't you?"
"Man fuck outta here, I ain't get scared. I got mad 'cause you banging on my shit like it's yours."
"Nah I seen you jump. Baby ass." Tyga insulted as we walked into the building.
"Man fuck you. And speaking of babies, we gotta talk bruh."
"Aww shit, Chef Chris dun' put a bun in Riley's oven?"
I jerked my head quickly, rejecting. "Hell nah. This 'bout you."
I still haven't told T that he had a baby on the way with Liza, but now was the perfect time. I didn't wanna make shit too awkward between him, Kylie, and Liza while we was still in school, so I wanted to wait it out for a minute.
"'Bout me? What about me?"
"Liza pregnant man."
"Damn Chris! You out here slangin' ain't you?"
I laughed at his assumption. "Nah but you is. It's yours."
"Oh shit." T abruptly stopped walking and leaned on a nearby wall.
