My Dad's doing a live TV interview this morning then afterwards, he's spending all of today at the studio talking about what set list to do for the tour next month and just chilling with Grandpa and the band. I got up at 8am and headed downstairs to grab some breakfast then took it over to the living room and My Mom turned on the TV.
Ellen: Ladies and Gentlemen we have a special guest for you. He retired for a while but now he's back and better than ever. Give it for Shawn Mendes!

Shawn: Hello, Thank you for having me Ellen
Ellen: It was my pleasure. Anyway Shawn, how are you feeling about touring again?
Shawn: I'm feeling excited about touring because I'm going to places I've never been too like Rio, Mexico and hits other places
Ellen: So Shawn, you have two children? Skylar and Caleb who are both 17?
Shawn: Yeah, both 17
Ellen: How are they dealing with how long you'll be on tour for?
Shawn: Um... Caleb is dealing with it well as he knows how much I love touring and being on the road but Skylar is dealing with it pretty well but she knows and I know how much I'll miss her, Caleb and Ellie. Guys if your watching, I just want to say that I love you so much
*Blows kiss to camera*
Ellen: Ok, so how does being back on the road effect your relationship with not only your family but your friends?
Shawn: Um, being on the road doesn't effect my realtionship with my family and friends. It just makes it harder for us to see each other
Ellen: I understand that you're going to sing your new song, There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back for us? What's the song about?
Shawn: Yeah. It's about how I'm following my dream and that my family and friends aren't holding me back. It was originally about My Wife, Ellie but I changed to how there's nothing holding me back from doing what I love doing
Ellen: Thank you Shawn
