Three green hearts on one stem;
above them on its tower the white,
five petalled flower,
mauve-veined, gold-hearted,
stamens offered tenderly,growing all about the lower
paths of Ravenwood,
among moss,
between roots
of birch and ash -all among the woodland
roots: twined candle-holders
cradling rising boles
beneath their bark.striations.
