A FEW YEARS BEFORE
"Move!"
"You're the one taking up more than half the bed."
Nao glared at the raven-haired teen as she adjusted her pillow, letting out a huff of annoyance.
"You're also the one who wanted to share a bed." Sasuke reminded her, flickering her forehead cautiously.
"Shut up." She grumbled, her red hair moving so that it was now flowing down her shoulders as she sat up.
"Why did you, anyway?"
"I just wanted Jugo to have his own bed."
"Stop lying." He commanded, tilting his head to look over at her."Tell me the truth."
The Uzumaki bit her lip, instinctually looking down at her lap."I have nightmares."
"You do?"
"Yeah. I just thought.." She looked back at him."I just thought that if I had you next to me they wouldn't happen."
"I can't stop nightmares." He rolled his eyes.
"Forget it." Nao scoffed, throwing off the covers.
The Uchiha reached out to grab her wrist in a swift motion, pulling her down next to him so that she was laying in his arms.
"I never said I wouldn't try to protect you though, Baka."
