I sat up, my head was pounding. I looked over and saw Edd. "N-Now, you may be wondering why did you jump?" I started "but I swear it's not for the reason you think it is. I thought I could jump in and swim to the boats on the dock below me. I've done something similar before so... But this time, I missed the landing and I think I hit my head.".. Edd just looks at me "That's not a good lie Tord." He stated. "I'm sorry." I replied.
"Why are you sorry?" Edd asked. I just sighed " I acted on instinct and..." I wanted to cry. "Tord, it's okay." Edd said patting my back. "Thanks Edd." I smiled.
"Want to talk to Tom?" He asked. I thought for a bit. Tom? Does he hate me? Does he love me? I'll never find out if I don't talk to him. "Sure, but-" I wanted to say 'but don't leave.' but then I realized; that'd be more then awkward. "But?" Edd questioned. "Nevermind." I said. Edd looked worried. I heard him mumble something as he walked out to get Tom. What'd he say?
