Rita walks into school already not wanting to be here since it's a Monday. Then she sees something that breaks her heart a little. Liam and Hayden flirting together.

Liam is one of Rita's friends and her brother's beta. Rita thought Liam was cute the first time she met him and soon developed a crush on the blue eyed beta. Then the more time she spent together and the more she got to know the sweet boy the more she fell for him. So it hurts to see the boy she loves wanting someone else.

I can't do this today. thinks Rita before leaving the school building

Rita walks through the woods a few tears falling down her face imagining Liam and Hayden together. Rita couldn't go home because her mom is there who would force her back to school. She also didn't tell Scott she left because she knew he would force her to go back to school. And she couldn't deal with seeing Hayden and Liam right now.

"Well if it isn't the famous true alpha's little sister." says a voice from behind Rita

Rita turns around to see Kate Argent.

"Well well is that the one and only Kate Argent I see in front of me?....What do you want?" questions Rita

"I want to cause your brother pain and you can help me." says Kate

"I'm not going to help you." scoffs Rita

"I wasn't asking for your help." says Kate then two guys grab Rita's arm holding her still as she struggles against them

"Now stay still, or this will hurt a lot more than it has to." says Kate holding her cross bow up making Rita gulp scared

"Have you seen Rita?" asks Scott walking up to Liam worriedly for his little sister

"No, I was just about to ask you the same thing." answers Lian worried as well

"Do you think something happened to her?" asks Liam concerned for Rita

"I don't know but we need to find out." answers Scott heading to the parking lot

He quickly heads with Liam to the parking lot finding the space Rita always parks in. Liam sniffs the air to smell a fresh scent of Rita.

"She was here." says Liam

"But where is she now?" questions Scott worried something happened to his sister and he didn't want to lose her; he couldn't lose her

Rita lays on the forest floor blood pooling around her unconscious body. Liam and Scott run through woods following Rita's scent.

"I smell blood." says Liam

"It's Rita's." says Scott making them run faster

They soon spot Rita's body. Scott can't help but stop and stare at his sister in shocked for a few seconds. While Liam rushes to Rita.

"No, no, no." He says trying to apply pressure to the wound on Rita's stomach

"Wake up! You have to wake up, Rita. I need you." says Liam tears falling down his face

"She isn't going to, Liam." says Scott crouching down next to his beta

"You have to give her the bite,then we can't just let her die." says Liam scared and sad

Scott stares at his sister's body conflicted on what to do. He knew his sister didn't want the bite even if it saved her life. But he couldn't lose Rita right and nor could his mother....or his Beta who is in love with her.

"You're right." says Scott lifting Rita's wrist deciding to do something selfish

He quickly bites into Rita'a wrist

Rita groans as she wakes up. She looks around to see she's in the hospital before her eyes fall to a sleeping Liam Dunbar. He sits in a hospital chair silent until he lets out a loud snore. The snore causing Rita's to chuckle waking Liam up.

"Rita." He says shocked as he rushes over to her

"Hey, Liam." says Rita giving him a small smile as she pulls a chair to her bedside

"I was so worried." He says hugging her his head on her stomach

"How...how am I live right now?" questions Rita after thinking about the last things she remembers; she should have died

There was no way she could have survived that, she knew that. Liam sits up grabbing Rita's hand nervously; worried how she will take the news.

"Scott gave you the bite." says Liam

"What? He did what?!" questions Rita freaking out

"Ri, it was the only way to save you. If he didn't turn you; you would have died. I couldn't lose you." says Liam a few tears fall down his face causing Rita to calm down and listen to Liam

"I love you Rita." says Liam looking at you

"I love you too, Liam." says Rita smiling

Smiling Liam leans over and kisses Rita softly.

That was almost two weeks ago and now it's Rita's first full moon.

Rita sits on the ground next to Liam as she stands her up.

"Are you sure these won't break?" asks Rita worried

"They shouldn't." answers Liam as he finishes

"I'm scared, Li." admits Rita starting to feel the affects of the full moon

"You're going to be okay, we just have to find your anchor." says Liam but then the full moon really starts affecting Rita

Rita's eyes glow gold and her claws come out.

"Liam!" says Rita scared but worried

"Rita, calm down." says Liam worried for his girlfriend

"I can't." growls out Rita

"You need to find anchor; someone who you love that can keep you human." says Lia

"Who's yours?" asks Rita

"You." answers Liam

Rita softly smiling before concentrating trying to use Liam as her anchor. After a few minutes she feels her fangs retract along with her claws.

"I did." says a shocked but happy Rita

"You did good, baby." says Liam pulling Rita into a hug

"Thanks." says Rita smiling

"So....who's your anchor?" asks Liam hoping it's him

"You." answers Rita

"I was hoping it would be." says Liam before kissing Rita passionately
