Nolan stares at you from down the hall. You were his best friend....well you're his only friend really.  You smile at him noticing his staring, he blushes seeing you caught him. You head over to him wanting to talk to him oblivious to the fact he is a hunter now.

"Hey, Nol." You say smiling as you stand next to him

"Hey." He says smiling nervously

You always manage to make him nervous since he has a crush on you. He would never inform you of that of course. He couldn't risk losing his best friend and he didn't think you would ever see him that way.

"Want to talk to class together?" You ask

"Of course." says Nolan smiling happily

You and Nolan walk down the hall talking and laughing as you two do.

You head to your last period class when a arm pulls you into the locker room. You get ready to scream when a hand cover your mouth. You look to see the hand belonged to the one and only Theo Raeken.

"It's just me." He says

You nod and he removes his hand from your face.

"What do you want, Raeken?" You ask

"You need to stay away from Nolan." Theo answers

"Nolan's my friend." You say looking at him confused

"He may be your friend but he's teaming up with Monroe. You have to stay away from him before he realizes he can use you for leverage. He could hurt you, Y/N." says Theo

"He couldn't do that." You insist shaking your head

"Nolan's scared, and people do stupid things when they are scared." says Theo

"I...I need to go." You say before rushing out thoughts swirling in your head

   You walk down the hall biting your lip nervously not sure what to think. Nolan is a close friends of yours and Theo....well Theo's Theo. You couldn't figure why he would possibly lie about this. It wouldn't gain him anything at all. And Nolan has been quite weird lately you think. You start to head to science when you see a commotion.

  You peek over everybody to see Nolan and Gabe punching Liam. You let out a large gasp that Nolan hears. He instantly turns to you. His eyes widen as he sees you. You look at him fearful of what he would do. You run off knowing Mason and Corey would help Liam. Tears running down your face as you run back to the locker room. You walk in to see a Theo.

"You were right." You say softly as he pulls you into a hug

"He's beating up Liam right now." You tell him

"What?" says Theo pulling from you fury evident in his eyes

"I'm going to kill him." He growls as he starts to leave

"You can't. Everyone's watching and they will notice if you werewolf out on them." You say grabbing his sleeve

"Then I'll kill him later." Theo huffs out before noticing how devastated you are

He sighs before he pulls you back into a hug.

"Everything will be okay." He says softly

You sit on your couch at home watching a movie and eating popcorn when the doorbell rings. Sighing you get up and head to the door. You open it to see Nolan. You look at him shocked and start to shut the door but Nolan speaks up before you can.

"Y/N, please, I need to explain." says Nolan looking at you worried and nervously

"I don't need you to explain Nolan. You beat up Liam and there's no excuse for that." You say softly

"But I did it because he's a monster." says Nolan

"He's a werewolf not a monster." You say

"How...You know about werewolves?" He asks shocked

"This is Beacon Hills, of course I know." You softly chuckle as you answer

"Then why aren't you helping the hunters? They are monsters." says Nolan looking at you genuinely confused

"Because they are my friends. They aren't monsters. They are good people. Better than those junky hunter friends of yours." You say coldly

Then you hear another voice from behind you.

"What's he doing here?" asks Theo angrily

You let out a sigh as you turn to him. You are now letting Theo stay with you for a little while your parents are out of town. You found about him being homeless when he gave you a ride home after the whole Liam thing.

"He was just leaving." You answer turning back to Nolan who panics at this

"Y/N, I-" starts Nolan but you shut the door not wanting to her him talk about how your friends are monsters anymore

"I want some ice cream." You declare sighing as you head into your kitchen

You walk into school the next morning to be pulled into a janitor's closet. You look to see it's Nolan. You start to scream not wanting to be here with him. Fearing Theo is right and that Nolan is going to use you for some kind of leverage on the pack. He quickly covers your mouth sensing you were going to scream.

"I just need to talk to you." Nolan says

"I don't want to be a hunter anymore. And I'm sorry I hurt Liam.....I don't want to hurt people anymore and I don't want to lose you." says Nolan tears falling down his face

He then hesitantly removed the hand from your mouth.

"You promise you'll stop?" You asks softly

Nolan nods yes looking at you worried. He's a bit shocked when you pull him into a tight hug.

"Good because I didn't want to lose one of my best friends." You say softly

You pull away smiling up at him and that's when Nolan does something that could either be the biggest regret of his life or the best thing he has ever done. He kisses you. You stand there frozen for a second before you kiss him back.

"I...I probably shouldn't have done that. But I really really like you, Y/N. I like you more than just a friend." He says once you guys pull back

"You definitely should have done that because I really like you too, Nol." You say smiling

He smiles before kissing you again.
