Unexpected 2: Life's journey (Ashley Purdy)

Chap 12

    Finally after the dozens of pictures that Aries had taken it was time and she led me back to the huts where everyone was waiting except the guys because they were already standing with Ashley at the alter.
     Juniper was lined up at the front because she was Maid of honor as she held her white and green bouquet. Behind her was Alexandria, then Eva and finally Alex after she had left me at the alter. Lexi was already down waiting for us. In front of Juniper was Greta and before her was Jake dressed up in his little red velvet vest and black button up. He looked absolutely adorable. He held a dark blue pillow as two black rings, embedded with tiny blue gems laid out on it.
      From the hut, torches had lined the path all the way to the alter, and the sun had began to sink
    "Lets go and get you married" Alex cheered. I laughed as we began walking towards the glowing light down the beach. Good thing the sand wasn't soft other wise we would have had problems. My heart raced in anticipation, nearly jumping out of my chest and my knees starting to give out on me. We stopped to let everyone in front of me go as the music began to play and everyone stood up, looking my way. Ashley couldn't see me yet but I could see him and aries wasn't lying, he looked fantastic
     Ashley wore a dark gray sleeveless tux top that had a large v neck with a white bandana tied around his upper arm, and black dress pants. His hair was a bit groomed off towards the side covering his eye but it was also a tad bit poofy. Of course he had his war paint on which pulled it off really well.
     The guys had looked like jake, the same vests and all. They stood under a large black iron alter covered in thin twigs, dark purple cloths, and dark blue flowers. Once the girls got to there places and Ashley saw me his jaw dropped and he cupped his hands over his mouth, tears lining his eyes.
    I bit back a smile, sure everyone else who looked had looked at me in awe, jaws dropped, but I was focused on Ashley. The music started playing and  Alex had started dragging me down the isle, she was literally the only thing holding me up because my legs had become jelly.
  *Ashley POV*
    I cried tears of joy when I saw Anubis, she was so... so I didn't even know how to describe how she looked, their was no words to describe how beautiful she looked. I couldn't believe it, this beautiful amazingly talented girl had brought me to tears on our wedding day. This was unimaginable.
     I couldn't keep my eyes off of her at all as she walked down the isle, my eyes were glued onto her completely. My heart fluttered in my chest and it felt as if all the oxygen had been sucked out of my body, my lungs. I was shaking in nervousness despite feeling frozen in place.
      Anubis and Alex finally reached the alter and that's when I reached out, taking Anubis's hands in my mind as she handed Juniper her Bouquet to hold onto. Alex looked at me
     "Awe Ash stop crying" she said before a laugh went through the crowd. I glared at her as she got behind Eva before being pulled into Anubis's mysterious hypnotic blue eyes.
    "You..." I started forgetting what I was saying. Lexi smacked my arm
    "Shush until I can say that you can talk" Lexi said. Everyone laughed again " Friends, we have joined here today to share with Anubis Armbruster and Ashley Purdy an important moment in their lives. Their time together, they have seen their love and understanding of each other grow and blossom and now they have decided to live out the rest of their lives together as one. But before we begin does anyone object? Speak now or forever hold your piece" Lexi said. 
      I just stared into Anubis's memorizing face. I swear I could see our future together in her eyes. Our family, our adventures, us. I wasn't paying attention when I was once again smacked in the arm. Anubis bit back a giggle. God she was perfect
     "Ashley. Your vows"Lexi said. I cleared my throat and took in a steady breath
     "Anubis I remember the first time I saw you it was your first day at school. I remember watching you ride down the stair railing on your skateboard and I was absolutely stunned by how beautiful you were. Hell Andy even knows I sort of went stalkerish trying to see if anyone saw you. I know that when I asked you out later that night it was sort of sloppy and not how someone as be as you should have been asked but I couldn't help myself, I wanted you near me, in my life as mine. Nothing about you or our relation ship was easy but I wouldn't want it easy because for you anything is worth it. You changed my life, my ways, you changed me for the better. I'm a better man now because of you and I no longer feel that huge whole in my heart waiting to be filled because you filled it. One question that I keep asking myself everyday when I think about you is how I did I get  so lucky
     "All those nights we spent together were amazing even if it was sleeping in all day because we had nothing better to do. Every day with you is an adventure and you're always there to kick my ass when I do something stupid. You're my dose of reality. Your smile is mischievous and mystifying, your eyes are these huge pits of Love, warmness, kindness, their welcoming. I will always be here for you whenever, where ever it doesn't matter. You complete me and I couldn't imagine life without you. I made you a promise that one day I would marry you and I'm doing that now, but right here right now I am going to make you another promise
I wont ever leave you, I promise that we will have our own family and kids we'll grow old together forever nothing will ever separate us, not over my dead body not even then
     "You're my baby girl and you always will be. All those silly mistakes I made in the past to hurt you will never happen again. And I know that with you by my side we can get through anything, just like we always have You are my home, and my heart is where my home is"
      Anubis looked at me with tears in her eyes, stunned. Lexi nudged her
     "Anubis, your turn"
     "I honestly have no idea what to say I'm so nervous... Ash all these years ve've been together I have loved you and I continue to fall deeper in love vith  you everyday. You have given me more then I've ever known in my entire life. People may say that I'm too young to know vhat love is right now but they don't know me or how I feel. Growing up I didn't know vhat love vas or how it felt, I vas neglected any feeling of love and happiness but then you came along and changed my vhole vorld showing me those feelings, actually experiencing them. I've always been a simple girl vho doesn't ask for much but you made me feel special, alive, vanted... something I never knew existed. You helped me vith becoming confident and my shyness. You brought out the better side of me and I cant thank you enough for that because you gave me a second chance.    Vith you I don't have to vorry, I don't have to feel alone and deal vith a situation by myself
    "For you I vould lay down my life, you have never left me and I vill never leave you. Ve're inseparable and ve always have been. Everything you do is just utterly adorable your smile, the vay your eyes sparkle, your laugh is like music to my ears.
     "Your smirk always gets my heart to race everytime even vhen I am in a bad mood. I don't know anyone vho can make me happy just by being near me, but that's you. My unique ball of veirdness
    "I remember you calling me a nerd and truth is I am, I'm not ashamed of that fact because I'm your nerd and I always vill be just like you have and always vill be my outlaw. From the day I met you I knew you vould change my life and you did. I am looking forward to the future that ve have and hopefully soon our expanding family from just us to Berlin and icy, Coco and shadow, Oliver, Greta to our future kids. I'm glad that I'm spending the rest of my life vith my soul mate" she said
    I smiled, probably more then I've ever did in my entire. How did I get so lucky? Jake walked up and handed us the rings. I grabbed a thin black and with a small blue gem surrounded by tinier blue gems.
   "Ashley repeat after me" Lexi said " I Ashley give you Anubis this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you."
    "I Ashley give you Anubis this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you" I said as I slipped the ring onto her finger just in front of the engagement ring. Anubis looked at me, her smile bright and her eyes had a sparkle to them
    "Anubis" Lexi said
    "I Anubis give you Ashley this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you" Anubis​  said. I felt the black band with tiny blue gems down the center slip into my finger. I grinned as Lexi grabbed a whit candle wrapped in a spider web like cloth and a thin red ribbon around it. She lit the two skinny ones and handed it to us. Taking the candle we light the bigger one together. Lexi smiled as she grabbed ours and blew it out.
    "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride" Lexi said 
    "That's the best thing I heard you say yet" I said before grabbing Anubis and dipping her down as I kissed her. The crowd cheered and slowly they began to fade as Anubis kissed back, her hands sliding up and over my shoulders before wrapping her arms around my neck and kissing back.
     "You had to go over the top, didn't you?" Anubis asked against my lips as I broke the kiss and rested my forehead against hers. I smirked as she bit her lip 
    "Of course I did, I just married the sexiest girl in the entire universe. Its a crime if I don't go over the top" I say before I picked her back up and pulled her close, bodies pressed together, as I wrapped my arm around her waist
    "Oh come here you dork" she said before pulling me into another kiss. I chuckled as I kissed back before we were interrupted
   " I hate to interrupt you two love birds but we still have pictures to do" Lexi said. Anubis laughed as Aries lead Anubis and i, the girls and guys, Luke, Greta, Aunt Marcy, grandma, jake, James and Joshua jr who was only at least two years old our for pictures. We had gotten plenty before everyone left one by one until it was just me and Anubis. Aries had no end to her picture taking, not that I had minded with all the photo shoots we had done over the years, their were so much
    "Well it'll be enough to fill my scrap book" Aries said "ill get these organized and processed before I send them to you" Aries said as she walked off looking at her camera
   "Ve should probably head back to the party" Anubis said.
    "Orrrrrr we could always stay a bit longer" I said. She looked at me
    "As much as I vould love that Juniper vould come and find us before dragging us off into god knows vhere" Anubis said as I grabbed her hand and began walking towards the party 
    "Oh I wouldn't let her hurt my baby girl" I said. Anubis laughed
    "Yea, I vould so love to see you go against a pregnant juniper. That doesn't have bad idea vritten all over it"
    "I didn't say I was going to hurt her. Gosh you have a violent imagination"
    " it isn't violent" she said. It was my turn to laugh 
    "Sure" I said
    "Dude ever since our first time I have literally non stopped thinking about it. You turned me into a mini you, so my imaginations are not violent" she said. I laughed again
    "Well hopefully you picked up a few moves then~" I purred. She playfully slapped my arm "ow man this is my wedding day and I'm getting abused"
     "Don't even start"
      "You know what? I think that two day separation was worth it, not that I didn't love sneaking off to see my precious kitten, you are absolutely gorgeous. If I thought the scale was broken before I was wrong, its completely squashed to tiny bits right now"
     "Oh stop it" she said, blushing a deep red
    "But I cant help but flatter my Wife" I said as I kissed her cheek "or should I say Mrs. Purdy"
    "Fucking finally, it took vay to long for that to happen. I'm glad it finally did" she said. I laughed
     "Well it definitely suits you, Anubis Purdy. Better get used to it because I'm going to have you screaming it all week long" I said "hopefully in German to"
    "Oh my god" Anubis said trying to hide her face
    "Awwwww don't be ashamed baby girl, you know you love it"
    "I swear sometimes I vonder vhats running through your mind"
    "Oh baby I don't know if you can handle what's going through my mind" I said
     "Yea probably not" Anubis said. Finally we made it back to the party, music was blaring and people were having fun. Then out of nowhere the DJ on the makeshift stage
    "Guys please help me welcome the newly weds Mr. And Mrs. Purdy" the DJ said. I laughed as people started to make a path towards the dance floor "its time for these two love birds to share their first dance"
     "Lets go baby girl" I said happily as I dragged her to the dance floor. She laughed as I placed my hand on the small of her back as she placed hers on my shoulder. When the first note of Warmness of the soul came on we started
    "You know this reminds me of our dance near the bank when we went camping" I said
     "It does. Plus the dance at the Festival"
    "We could have done this at prom. And homecoming" I pointed out
   " I know, but I dont really enjoy things like that. You could have gone instead of stayed home with me"
    "I know you don't. Besides why would I go to events like those without you not only would I have been a death trap for me with all the girls but it wouldn't have been fun without you"
    "You know how boring I am. It vouldnt have been fun vith me there, trust me" she said as she placed her head on my shoulder.
    "Well for what its worth I love you boring or not. But I'm just letting you know that you aren't boring"
     "Sureeeeee" she said as I spun her around before pulling her close to me
    "I'm telling you, you aren't boring. And you wont win this argument"
     "Ve'll see about that vont ve. Remember vho your talking to, I did made most of your tour days miserable"
     "Awww you can never make anything miserable" I said. She just stuck her tongue out and I laughed "you are such a child"
     "I know I am. But so are you so ha" she said
     "I am no child I am a mature human male" I said officially. She laughed
    "You are not fully mature, you're half vay there" she said.
    "Why did you have to rain on my parade" I pouted playfully.
    "Oh you big dork" she said before she kissed me. Eventually we finished are dance that we both didn't want to end but unfortunately did. I have gone and talked to some of the other guests as I watched Anubis dance with nearly everyone, she was absolutely stunning I was still in shock at her beauty.
    "Hey Ash and must I say congratulations" I heard Garcia say. I laughed and looked over to see Garcia wearing a dark purple dress, her hair in a curled bun with one of her big crazy flowers.
     "Why thank you" I said as I grabbed a champagne glass. She laughed
    "You look amazing" she said blushing a bit "so does Anubis. She looks like a queen"
    "She does, doesn't she. I keep on wondering how I got lucky with her, she's way out of my league but I'm glad she did chose me though. Out if everyone else in the world she picked me" I said as I looked over to see Jake and Anubis dancing, her laughing at one of his jokes. I smiled, I had never seen her so happy before, not like this.   Not that I wasn't happy about it, I was ecstatic.
     "Why wouldn't she? You're amazing, funny, talented, sweet I mean the whole list goes on. She loves you for a lot of reasons, anyone would be lucky to have you and she's a lucky girl. By the way your guys's vows were just so beautiful I literally cried" she said. I chuckled
    "Thanks. And you'll find that someday I know you will."
    "Hopefully, time has a way of making things slow down"
   "It does. And thanks again for everything... helping to Find Anubis and all. It really means a lot to me I don't know what I would have done if she were gone for good and you hadn't been there to help"
     "It isn't a problem. Besides I can't have one of my idols sad and one of my favorite bands just disappear that wouldn't do at all. What would I do without Holy Sin music or merch or the interviews and photoshoots it would drive me insane  I live reading your magazines to"she said
    "Hey you're good with computers and editing things right?" I asked. She gave me a really are you kidding me look 
    "Of course I do, you're talking to a tech genius over here"
    "Haha true. But maybe when you weren't working you could help us with some of our music videos and stuff. In sure Anubis would love that"
    '  Of course I would "she said happily just as I saw Anubis.  make her way towards us and through the crowd.
     "Well lets ask her" I said
