Imagine #22 // Mingyu pt.01

You were sitting down on the floor in the supply closet at the pledis building , crying softly while rocking back and forward . It's one of those days where your mood was unstable , when all the hate got to you .

Now here you're trying to hide from everyone , to not make a sound as someone was right outside the door .No one understands how you feel , how the fans keep calling you untalented , annoying , how they insult your band members . It hurts your heart how they don't acknowledge when you try your best , Can't they just leave you alone? a sound escapes your mouth when you think about this making you hug your knees tighter hoping the person who was outside didn't hear you but it was too late

"(Y/n) ? Is that you ? What are you doing here ? " Mingyu asked while crouching down . It was too dark so he couldn't see that you were crying , a choked sob slipped from your lips. You mentally cursed yourself for crying about something you've dealt with before but you opened your eyes to look at him

Mingyu's heart wrenched when he saw the state you were in . He sat next to you and touched your shoulder gently

"Is everything okay? " He asked with a certain emotion lacing his words making you cry openly . You move closer to him and bury your face into his neck .He hugs you back , unsure if it was the right move

"They're too mean" you whisper "Who?" "The fans today " " Haters?" "Yeah " "Don't pay attention to them (Y/n) , you're perfect "

your cheeks start to burn at his words

" besides you have plenty of fans who love you for who you are , so don't change for anyone " Mingyu continues

"Do you really mean that ?!?" you ask shyly , still a little shaken up from when he called you perfect . "Of course , you are perfect " Mingyu repeats

"Thank you for saying that"

you pull back from Mingyu's embrace , he naturally reaches out to wipe your tears with his fingers . Your breath hitches slightly when you realise how close his face is to yours . You find yourself lost at his facial features

his thumb moves from your cheek down to your lips , brushing against them softly . All of a sudden you find yourself leaning in and Mingyu isn't pulling away

next thing you know your lips are touching gently in a delicate way . Mingyu pushes further into the kiss while you close your eyes and caress the side of his face

You two finally realise what you were doing and you pull back immediately . Not saying anything for a minute just staring in eachothers eyes while letting all that happened soak in

"S-Sorry I don't know why I did that " Mingyu stutters quietly "O-Oh okay", you reply not knowing what else to say

"Let's forget this ever happened?" Mingyu suggests while standing up . You nod. His gaze never left you until he dissapeared behind a corner

both of you hardly got a good night sleep because your minds drifted to eachother
