Chapter 9-- Kahin na gaya tujhe chod ke main

Virat's P.O.V

She was in our room getting ready for Sonu's wedding

I opened the door quietly and walked inside but she caught me

"Hi" Preethi said

"Hey" I said trying hard not to look into her eyes

"How am I looking?" she asked

"Pretty as always" I said 

"Vee you look upset?" she asked

I know I can't hide anything from her.

"I need to tell you something" I said

"bolo" she said

"You know Anushka right?" I said

"Anushka sharma?" she asked

I nodded.

"The girl who did clear shampoo's advertisement with you?" she asked

I nodded again.

"No I don't know ...Kaun hai woh ladki?" she asked

"Pihu.." I said looking into her eyes.

They are so much full of liveliness and innocence.

"Acha Ok batao..."  she said

"You know I always liked her right?" I asked

Her face saddened a bit

"You said you liked her as a friend right?" she asked pure water forming tear crystals in her eyes.

"She proposed me today " I said.

 "And you said... Wait..Vee?" she was surprised

" I liked her Pihu.. So I told her a yes" I said

"But then, before 7 months you said you loved me right?" she asked

"That was  7 months before babe" I tried to convince her "I loved you then.."

"And now?" she asked tears streaming down her gorgeous face

"I like you but love... I am afraid not..." I said

"But I loved you Vee" she said wiping off her tears

"That's not love maybe its just that you got attracted... Pihu listen..."

She walked out of the room without allowing me to complete

As she walked out of the room I got a phone call...

Anushka 

calling

"Did you break up with her?" she asked

"ya i ..I..did " I said sorrow trying to engulf me

"Oh poor Virat you love her so badly right..." she said villainism reflecting in her voice

"Now better don't do anything to her Ok?" I say more of warn

"But Just prove it to everyone that you love me" she said "Here talk to my brother" she said giving her mobile to him

"Vee I am so proud of you..You are a  true lover.. So just stay away from her in case you want her safe. The farther you are from her and the closer you are to Anushka the safer she is " the voice said

I agreed.

And then the whole #Virushka drama. Yes I tried loving her but I could only love the shade of her which resembled Preethi

I was missing her terribly.

The way she was depressed and whenever Sonu called her She gave some excuse of work.

After an year again I saw her at the airport after we won a series.

"Happy?" I asked Unmukt who gave his series debut.

"Lots..." he said

"Why so excited UC?" I asked

"My fiance is coming to pick me up " he said

"Love marriage?" I asked

"Arranged. We were childhood friends though." he said

"But shaadi itni jaldi?" I asked

"Mom wants me to get married before I get famous and have these diiva's going gaga over me"  he said

"jaane de " I said When my eyes noticed something

Pihu. She was here.

The same beauty, the same innocence in her eyes

She waved.

I thought she waved to Sonu but Then, Chand went over and gave her a hug.

A sting of jealousy ran through my blood.

Chand was marrying someone whom I loved the most.

We never told Sonu about our relation because we knew he would object. So she could never tell him how she felt Neither could I.

And then Chand introduced me to her.

"Hi I'm Virat" I said putting my hand forward

"Namaste" she said without even shaking my hand.

How desperate I was getting to feel those soft hands in mine?

You deserve this Virat

You've broken her and made her this cold.

Now face the consequences....

As everyone began leaving, I pulled her aside.

"What?" she asked curtly

"Can we be friends at least?" I begged

"Fine" she said rudely and walked off brushing her hair past me.

But As time passed she began getting more as a close friend.

I was with her in every difficulty of hers supporting her through out.

But never could I profess the infinite love I had for her

She would never understand....

But when she cried over Chand's accident..I realized how much it could have hurt her

And I know Chand took some risk like me otherwise he wouldn't have got shot...

But what happened? And why?

I had to know
