Being in hospital

A/N: some of this may be ward-specific. I was always under children's paediatrics.

- Feeling like one big family

- Having a really cool bed that you can make higher and lower and at an angle

- Earlier bed times than home because of the little kids, but being kept up until half 11 because of people talking

- Having very little privacy

- Losing your hospital band pretty much all the time because it's too loose

- Being woken up at night for observations and being grumpy because you struggled to sleep in the first place 😂

- Joking that you're dead when the thermometer and heart rate monitor don't recognise you XD

- Nurse: I'll be with you in five minutes

- Nurse: I'll be with you in five minutes

- Constant beeping from machines, especially when you gain a new neighbour because they will have fluids and their heart rate monitor on for the first 24 hours D:
