This is an AU/CROSSOVER of the Addams Family and the 2017 adaptation of Stephen King's 'IT'. As an AU, this book will not be following the storyline of the movie. But, there will be some aspects of both movies incorporated into the book, so expect to see some of your favorite dialogues, scenes, etc.

yes, the title of the book is inspired by the song 'strange love' by halsey, it does have some sexual remarks but that's not why I chose this song to represent this book. I chose it for the part about her 'strange lover,' [see epigraph for full verse] wednesday is without a doubt a strange girl and others ridicule her for that, but eddie will see to admire her for it, for she's not afraid to be herself and not care what other people think about her. so if you listen to the song to reference to this book don't go thinking 'oh my god this author is nuts she wants these little kids to be fucking' because no that's literally wrong lol.

if you ever read anything in this book and think 'Wednesday wouldn't do that, or say that, she doesn't care about friends, etc' you guys have to remember, wednesday is still a kid, a teenage girl at that. everyone has emotions and those basic human feelings / instincts, wednesday is just better at masking them than others, and yes she might not even care as much either, but there is still that part of her that does. so just keep in mind that ill be staying true to her weird interests and sardonic humor and such, but will still be applying typical instincts and feelings that come along with being a teenager.
