Chapter 12: FRESH MEAT

Andromeda's POV

If only I could escape from being who I am, from my past from everything.

I never meant to make her angry or to yell at her, I was just stressed and tired. But now all the guilt us coming back and it hurts like hades.

I ran away from the crowd of people and ran to the infirmary to make sure Jason was alright. When I got over to his bed he was lightly breathing with slight quiet snores, he was sleeping and was alive. I wanted to say I was sorry but didn't want to wake him.

So I did the natural thing and look around to see if there was any paper and a pencil or pen, and to my luck their was a sticky note and pen on his side table that was holding a glass of nectar and a napkin with a piece of ambrosia.

I quickly but quietly grabbed the sticky note and pen and wrote down a quick speech and stuck the sticky note onto the glass of ambrosia. since I was standing the whole time I did a 360 spin and walked out of the infirmary and ran fast and quietly over to the boarders of camp and sat down.

I sat down against a like tree, the one where I had first meet Connor, and ugh Travis of course. Once I sat down I leaned my back against the tree and pulled my knees up to my chest and put the back of head against the tree.

The only thing running through my mind was everything that had happened, and thinking about made my head hurt even more and made the headache I've been having pound harder against my scull.

Can't I just get a break, to be friking normal or at least not to be yelled at for once in my life I think to myself as I close my eyes.

I feel somebody sit next to me and sigh in frustration. I open my eyes to see........

Connor Stoll!

But why in the name of everything holy was he sitting next to me and in his right hand holding up a very familiar yellow sticky note?

And for some reason I couldn't help but smile, the sneaky guy barley meet me like a day ago and he was already catching on to my antics.

Connor's POV

I waited til everyone had cleared out of the area to make my move, I was going to follow Andromeda.

Once the area was clear and nobody but my friends were sitting in a circle like the had been before. I said bye to them and told them I was going for a walk,  but I was really just going to follow Andy.

I turned to look in the direction to see Andy taking a root that made it look like she was going for a walk into the woods but in reality was probably heading to the camp border.

I made sure to make sure I didn't get caught by any of my friends as I ran to the infirmary, why? well because I had a feeling Andromeda was going there to make sure Jason was okay. Which by the way he, he was just sleeping.

My eye caught onto a yellow sticky note attached to a glad of nectar, it had writing on it in very nice printing.

The small sticky note said:

Dear Jason and everybody else,

I very sorry for what I have done but in all seriousness I shouldn't have yelled. I am very tired and stress but that'd doesn't give me an excuse to yell and to act like a five year old. Jason I'm sorry for getting you into a car crash and piper if your reading this I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything.

I'm going to be taking a walk in the woods, please don't try to find me I'll be fine.

FRESHMEAT

I crack a smile at her antics to lead them off her trail and to make sure that they don't find her. I read her neat printing but at the end by her name was two words squish together in all caps so you couldn't really understand why she had wrote it, but I understand perfectly.

The first thing me and my brother had ever said to her was "lookyee here fresh meat", we were only trying to scare her but that didn't work all she was reply with a sarcastic comment. In that very moment I had set eyes on her I already knew I was going to like this girl.

Andromeda was mysterious and a bit dangerous, but also had a soft side and was to me loyal to the bone.

I took the sticky note into my left hand and ran quietly and fast making sure nobody saw me following Andromeda. I ran til I reach the borders. I look over to me right nobody was there, but on my left was a seventeen year old girl with black hair with her eyes shut and was sitting on the ground leaning against a tree for support. I walked over to her and sat down beside her.

I sighed in frustration and waited a few seconds while putting all my focus on her. After a few seconds she opened her eyes and turned her head to the right to look over at me. I held up the yellow sticky note in my right hand to show her what I had in my hand, and when she saw the yellow piece of paper in my hand she smiled.

I bit the inside of my cheek to stop me from smirking.

"Care to explain" I said to her and she sighed and smirked before she nodded in a "yes" motion.
