REAL LIFE - WANT

The day they had dreaded came, the day where Alexa has to leave Bill again. The couple decided to maximize their time with each other by just laying down in Bill's apartment, a comfortable silence surrounding them.

"I don't want you to leave."

"I don't want to either but I have to."

"This sucks, it'll be months till I see you again. Aren't you going to Vancouver for Riverdale?" She snuggled closer to him, his arm snaked its way to her waist.

"I've been thinking."

"You have?"

"Shut up, you know the past few days have been fun, crazy and just a rollercoaster ride of a week. Do you want this? Because I do." He sat up, pulling Alexa along with him. If he wanted to say anything to her right now this was the time.

"I want this too. I want all of it. All of the bickering, the sleepless nights waiting for your calls, the good morning texts, the joy of seeing you after a long time. I want the world to be envious of us because of our cute pictures with each other. I want to hug you, make food for you, to wake up in the morning with you. I want to call you mine and you to call me yours. I need you to know you are my everything and nothing is ever going to change that." Alexa didn't realised that her tears began to fall down her face. Bill wiped it with his thumb and engulfed her into his embrace

"Can you stop?" Her voice was muffled because of Bill's chest.

"Stop what?"

"Stop making me fall deeper. It's making it harder for me to leave."

"Are you sure you didn't leave anything?" Bill took the liberty of bringing Alexa to the airport, photographers swarmed them like flies forcing them by the security to be placed in a secluded area.

"Everything is with me MOM." Bill rolled his eyes, pinching her cheeks. They couldn't get too comfortable with each other since they still are in a public place but that didn't mean Alexa couldn't give him one last hug. Standing on her toes, she hooked her arms around his neck.

"I'll call you the moment I land. You take care of yourself, okay?"

"Now look who's worrying." He tried to make this not as sad as he felt, it's not like this is gonna be the last time they'll see each other. He pulled away from her to memorize her face, he noticed her eyes are starting to swell with tears.

"I wish I could kiss you right now."
A voice interrupted the couple's moment, it was announcing that Alexa's plane has arrived and is calling all of its passengers.
Alexa waved goodbye at Bill, leaving him a kiss on his cheek. He smiled sadly as the figure of the person he love so dearly disappear at the corner.
