I cranked up the stereo in my black Ford Powerstroke. My stupid brother. Amelia is pure country. Ain't no way he's going to wow her. Just cause we look Korean doesn't mean we're not country. That's where we were born and raised, and that's the way we'll stay. Amelia, by my side at the front, let's her hair down, and man, I'm over smiling like an idiot. Luke Bryan comes on the radio, and man can Amelia dance. We exit the truck, and take a dip in the lake. "I feel no shame! I'm proud of where I came from! I was born and raised in the boondocks! One thing I know! No matter where I go! I keep my heart and soul in the boondocks!" We sang when Little Big Town came on. This is my kind of night.
