Mother

I saw him bloom beautifully,
from the speck of dirt,
into splendid endeavours.
I saw him smile
in my gardens of love
As I nourished him with the
waters of compassion and wisdom
He coloured me in his colours
and worshipped me with his life
I would smile at his little adorable steps he would take to explore me
But never could reach forth my fingers,
I would hold his grounds
to keep him from falling,
for how could I see my beloved child cry.       I would love to see him play with my jacket . He used to love watching little candies fall from it magically or as he thought.

Never did I ever
let any of his little requests or demands     left unfulfilled
Maybe that's the reason
why today he has grown to become
the monster I've turned him into.
Now I seldom see him smile,
or love for that matter
What he understands is his greed
and greed only
Seldom have I seen him sit
beside me to share a little talk,
instead we meet
just for the sake of meeting
or over his demands
that no longer can be deemed as innocent

The haze of the gold
must've become very opaque
since what I remember it from my time

For now he seems to neglect even my worsening health over his unworthy commands
In the years passing by
Have I not starting to miss my little child who promised me his support ,
His love and his smiles?
And am I not often infuriated
at his disownment
and ungrateful actions?

For this is not only hurtful to me
but for him as well,
for he is nothing
but dirt without
the cloak of the lively sense of
care and compassion
and the magic of love.

But I know deep in my heart which is left unstabbed that,
somewhere underneath
his foolish whims of materialistic pleasures,
my boy is still alive
and to protect her mother he will try
He will gather courage,
He will clench over his wisdom,
He will light the torch of love,
And seek to find his mother,
In the very colours he and I are used to
