Chapter 3: Monsters

Pip stood at the bus stop the next day, alone as always. He glanced down at his feet, seeing that they were slowly becoming buried in the white snow. It would seem that the snowfall was getting a little heavier as the day went on. "I wonder if Mother Nature is angry at us." Pip wonders as he glanced up at the sky, seeing nothing but clouds and white tiny flakes hurrying down from them. The bus came and Pip hops onto the awaiting vehicle, Sitting down in his usual seat which was the far left back. "Damn, do you always sit alone everyday, kid?" A familiar voice echoes through Pips' ears. The blonde was startled, and as he looked around he saw nothing. "Oh, don't worry about seeing me. I'm the Antichrist, remember? I have powers beyond human abilities." It was Damiens' voice. Pip knew it fairly well due to its deep voice with a cold tone that sent shivers down his spine. "I see." Pip nods, "But may I see you?" He asks the air.
"Tch, I wouldn't want you to see me even if I was forced to." Damien replied. The Brit nods in response before glancing out of the window once more. "Can anyone else hear you, Damien?" Pip asks. It was silent for a moment. "Only if I want them too." Damien replied. "But they can hear you." He adds. Pip looked up from the window to see eyes of other kids peering at him. "Don't want to make you seem crazy." Damien says. Pip felt something touch his shoulders. "Other things can hear you as well." The invisible Antichrist whispered into Pips' ear, the Brit feeling a bit afraid. "Things?" He repeats in question. The air grew cold around him. "Oh why of course, Kid. What? Did you think only I was able to hear you move that Planchette across that board from down below?" He asks Pip. Then it hit him. It made sense now. Last night Pip remembered seeing a hand reaching out of Starks Pond, as if it were trying to escape. Then he looked up at the walls of the bus, seeing markings now engraved into the metal walls of the moving vehicle. There were black colored handprints stained on the wall, too. "Well, I-I assumed-" Pip was interrupted. "Damn it Pip." The Antichrist huffs in annoyance. Pip looks down at his feet. "You really don't know how the board works?" He asks. "Sure I did." Pip answers, not looking up. "Uh-huh. Well," Damien sighs. "Good job kid. I should give you a gold star because congratulations! You woke up everything that exists In Hell because of your poor choice." Damien says, "Oh, and since you did they are roaming the streets." Pip snapped his head up, eyeing the place where he thought Damien was. "I'm just kidding!" He laughs. It grew quiet once again. "When you placed your fingers on the triangular piece, you opened a portal to Earth, thus giving every demon, ghost and hellhounds attention. So, they heard. Lucky for you only some could make it out because you said 'Goodbye' before more could escape." Damien explained. The brit grew silent. He looked down at the floor with wide eyes as he just couldn't believe what he was hearing. "S-So. I created evil spirits beyond humanity to roam the earth?" Pip asks, fear in his voice. Damien could be seen this time, only Pip could see him, though. The Raven sat besides Pip and wore a shit eating grin, showing off his rows of fangs. "Oh Pip, you humans are so clueless sometimes." He chuckled, running his fingers through his black hair. "Evil exists everywhere, kid." Damien said. "No matter how far you run, without the darkness there can be no light."
The bus came to a halt, and all of the kids left the vehicle. Pip stood up and walked out, not caring if Damien were to follow. Nobody could see him anyways, so it didn't matter. Pip was a little paranoid, seeing that the closest thing he ever had to friend, was the Antichrist himself. It amazed Pip, but he shrugged it off. Everyone is different, no matter what their titles and motives were. Damien was the Antichrist, but Pip knew he had to have some good in him. He didn't even hurt Pip when he had the chance to.
"Hey Pippers, are those kids still waning to bother you?" Damien asks Pip, floating behind him with boredom written in his expression. He was visible now, but only Pip could see. That threw Pip off a little. "How did you know I had bullies, Damien?" He asks the Antichrist, whose face never changed. Still, Damien was bored as ever. "Eh, a little birdie told me I guess" Damien answered, a smirk following. Pip didn't reply with anything but a nod. "If you want, we can get them back." Damien suggests, grinning evilly. "That's not nice, Damien." Pip spoke. "Wha- Pip, you are so nice it's poison to me sometimes." Damien frowns, leaning forward and sighing in annoyance. "Well it's never good to be mean. Kill them with kindness as I have heard." Pip spoke, Damien groaning. "Yeah yeah." He scanned the hallway full of kids. "It still doesn't work for me.." he huffs and crosses his arms. Pip looked straight down the hall with a smile on his face. Damien however, was examining the Brits' face and wondered what could make him so happy? He didn't complain for once, but he was sure confused on why Pip would be happy even if he was getting picked on both mentally and physically? He'll never know the answer.
"Oh! Damien! Will you be attending class with me?" Pip asks the Antichrist, snapping the boy out of his thoughts. "Uh, erm. No thanks." Damien replies coldly. Pip glanced up at him. "Wha- but why? Class gets rather boring, and you're quite a company!" Pip smiled. Dammit, Damien frowns. "No, Pip. I do not wish to attend the class. I hate school, I always have." He answers. "You went to school before?" Pip asks Damien who paused for a moment. He crossed his arms. "Why yes, I do believe I did. I got kicked out because I wouldn't stop making people throw up frogs and centipedes." He looked the other way to avoid Pips' sudden change in facial expression. "Damien!" He calls to the Raven. "That is..disturbing!" Pip whined. The Antichrist chuckled in response.
"Wendy! Oh Wendy!!!" A female voice whimpers. Pip and Damiens' attention was drawn to a girl running down the hallway. She had blonde curly hair, lips were red like her clothing. Bebe was her name. Wendy, the girl she was looking for, turned around to glance at the blonde with confusion. "And another thing I despise the most about the human race." Damien began. He narrows his bushy dark eyebrows. "Gossip and sluts." He commented. The two girls talked, the blonde seemed to be upset over her boyfriend buying her the wrong shoes. Pip felt bad for the girl. Damien on the other hand, saw the perfect opportunity to step in. When the British Boy looked back at Damien, he was gone. Nowhere to be found. "D-Damien..?" Pip calls out softly, scanning his area.
"Listen, Bebe. I'm sure Clyde feels really bad about it. Just talk to him." Wendy tells the other female who sobbed.
Suddenly, a gust of wind blew past the girls and Bebe began to holler out in fear. Pip looked over and his eyes widen in shock. There was a spider crawling onto Wendys' leg. The black haired female screamed as well. "Kill it! Kill it!" She cried out, bouncing on her shoes. The spider continues to make its way up the girls' leg, causing other girls nearby to shriek. "Damien!" Pip yells at the Antichrist, who hung over Wendy with a spider in his hand. He wore an evil grin, moving his hand outward to drop the spider. Soon it landed on Bebe's head. The girl passed out as soon as she saw the 8 legged creature in her eyesight. "Damien!" Pip yelled a little louder, stopping the Antichrist. His red eyes glance up at the blonde whose blue eyes stared back. "Ugh, fine then. I was just having fun." The Raven huffed in annoyance, floating back over to the Brit. "I don't understand why you bothered those girls, Damien." Pip looks at the other who smirked looking away. "I'm the Antichrist, Pip. I'm literally the Son Of Evil itself." He says. "I hope you didn't forget." Pip sighs, looking forward down the hall. "No, I did not I'm afraid." Pip answers with a hint of annoyance in his tone. "Pip, don't use that tone on me. You don't know what I'm capable of." Damien looked at the blonde and grinned. "I have spiders, flames, you name it!" He sounded like a child claiming his own toys. Pip couldn't help but to giggle. He covered his mouth, looking away from the Antichrist that stared at him. "Ooh! It's 8:15! I have to go to class!" Pip walked but stopped. "Damien, don't be too much of a bother, please?" The blonde asks. He heard a 'tch' but took it as an okay. Soon Pip ran off, leaving Damien behind. "Ugh, what an asshole." Damien frowns.
