Life it is confusing
Yet
I understand how they feel
To loose a child
A mother
A sister
A brother
A father
It hurts
Our minds make us hurt
Our feelings make us weep for the ones who died
But
Without those feelings
What would we be
Heartless cold creatures that only want money?
I am disappointed in today
Kids starving
People begging
People ignorant and selfish
People abusing their child for something they didn't do
Our minds
They change us
Make us good
Or bad
No matter what
You can't control what goes on inside
If you can't even control what goes on around you
Life isn't easy
Love isn't easy
But honestly does it even exist?
How do we know we are in love?
Do we just know?
Our minds
They make us want to cry and scream
Yet shout with joy at the top of our lungs
Pain loss and suffering
Everything
Our minds can't even comprehend everything
That's why we get confused
We get frustrated because you thought you were smarter
But
Everyone gets confused
Everyone struggles
People have family problems
No one is alone
But
We feel alone
We want to disappear
We wish we were unwanted so we could end our miserable lives
But we can
Because someone cares
And what if you are the only person that's keeping them from falling apart
What if they die too
Because you couldn't handle the pressure of the world
But our minds
Our minds will help
Our minds make us creative smart and maybe stupid
But at least we are living
We need to listen to our minds
We need to keep going
Follow your gut
Go for the fall
Tell them to stop fighting
Tell them you like them
Face your fears
But don't reject your mind
Even if you are messed up
Your mind is messed up just like you
So either way you aren't alone
And others will be here for you
