"Why didn't you tell me you had leukemia and you couldn't be in the sun?" He seethed when he saw her. "To think the number of hours we spent at the park caused your leukemia to worsen!" He was angry. Why didn't he see the signs? She was suddenly so skinny, and she bruised easily. And it wasn't like she also had red spots on her body.
She gave a weak smile. "I'm going to die anyways."
