I woke up in the dark blinking my eyes against the dark Nyx growled in his sleep as he felt me sit up his arm falling into my lap. why was I awake? I looked around the room and my eyes fell onto red ones and my breath hitched in my throat I spotted something shine in the light and in horror realized that the figure held a knife in its hand.

The figure lunged forward with a cry I could only describe as female and I screamed loud the woman was out the door the moment I had sucked in my breath and Nyx flew up into a crouched position his eyes flashing and body trembling as he was on the verge of shifting his eyes flickering around the room for any sign of danger.

I was trembling in the bed someone had just tried to kill me. once he was sure there was nothing in the room he pulled me into his arms "what happened? are you alright?" He said "i... a woman she .. had a knife...." I said clutching him close "she lunged for me she was going to kill me." I shuddered and an angry roar exploded from Nyx's throat and immediacy Leon and Tison burst into the room snarling.

"What happened?" and Nyx told them they snarled this time sniffing around the room. "daring to attack our luna" Leon snarled. Tison stood and turned to us holding a knife in his fingers glaring at it in disgust. the knife had me shaking again and Nyx jumped out of the bed taking the knife from Tison and sniffed it his eyes darkening and he spat out the words angrily "Rachel"

Lexi was through the door the next second and ran to my side pulling me into her arms with a snarl as deadly as Nyx "kill her that damned bitch." she said and I was shocked I had never seen her anything but the bubbly cheerful person of Lexi before. Nyx looked at his sister seeming to be reified that she was in the room with me and nodded motioning to the door. I watched as three angry werewolves stormed from the room and Lexi pulled me close.

"Don't cry. silly luna your safe, your safe. we won't let rogues or Rachel lay a finger on you." she cooed stroking my hair and I relaxed In her grip.
"Nyx" I mumbled my eyes half closed she smiled softly "he'll be back soon just go back to sleep I won't leave you until he gets back." I nodded and for a moment I thought of Rachel. she had tried to kill me... surprise? I think not.
