•The Gol Gappa Competition•

"Tum...Definitely Sanjna? Right na!"Shivaay asked as he turned and looked at girl standing behind him
"Ofcourse Yes! And if u do have a good memory then u should remember I met u at the inaugration JJ"
"I remember it. So, I have a good memory"Shivaay smiled at Sanjana who grinned at his reply "What does JJ mean?"
"Jiju Ji. That was the only abbreviation I could come up."Sanjana told him claspping her hands "And if u come to pick up Anika, I'm sorry to inform u that u are a bit earlier. An hour earlier, actually"
"What?"Shivaay's eyes widened and his face fell then "I'll go then..."
"Wait Jiju. U can come and sit in my cabin. My shift is off. Come come"Sanjana didn't even wait for his reply and turnedntowards her cabin

"Fine. Tell me what will u take."Sanjana asked so friendly"Wait! Yeh na kehna ky aap kuch nahi logy cause I am not gonna take that!"She told seeing the tension on his face and his lips parting
"Are u both doctors or some kind of mind-reader?"Shivaay left out a little chuckle as how both of them (Anika & Sanjana) already know what he was going to say
"Neuro means mind so we are kind of mind readers"Sanjana calculatedly said and shrugged her shoulders "Tea. Coffee. We don't ask for colddrink cause u know it's not good for health!"
"Coffee..Espresso"He smiled at Sanjana's antics as it was same as Anika
"Better"Sanjana nodded her head and picked up the reciever "Yeah bhaiya, one espresso and one cappacuino with two chocolate pastries"
"How are u jiju?"Sanajana realized that she didn't ask the main question
"I'm good"Shivaay laughed first and then replied to her

"When will Anika shift off?"He asked looking her room
"At some 5 or 5:30..then she will direct come her calling me"Sanjana told proudly to him
"Good! What should we talk about?"Shivaay directly asked the queation as he didn't find any topic to onto
"Chill jiju. Think me as your youmger sister aur behno se kia baat karte hain ye tou aapko pata hi hoga"Sanjana told him, her voice was so normal and friendly
"Okay..Tell me tumhara koi irada nahi hai shaadi karnay ka?"He asked with concern and teasingly as he was his real brother and Sanjana smiled at his question
"Ab jiju jis se shaadi karni hai wo kuch dino kyliye Denmark mae hai."
"Oh! Love or Arrange?"
"Love"
"Kon hai!"
"Kabir"
"Who Kabir?"Shivaay moved a bit forward listening the name
"Business man Kabir Singhania"Sanjana told him
"Oh My God!"Shivaay was astonished

Shivaay and Anika were at the door of the mall coming out after their ring selection. Anika put a condition that both will buy the rings for eachother but won't show it.

"Shivaay"Anika's voice come out a bit low
"What?"Shivaay asked concerned hearing her voice
"Gol Gappy"Anika said pointing towards the shop
"Do u want?"Shivaay looked at her and questioned but Anika nodded in no
"I want to have a competition.."Anika said in a childish voice but still thrilled
"What kind of competition Sweetheart?"Confused, was what Shivaay looked
"Well, eat as many gol gappas as u can. Jis ne zaida khaaye wo jeet jaye ga!As simple as me!" Anika chided happily and without listening to his reply she walked to the shop

"Anika...I can't actual..."He tried to say something but Anika made him quiet
"So SSO already accepts his haar? Fine...Let Oberois know that Shivaay Singh Oberoi didn't...."She emotionally blackmailed him and looked at him from the corner of her eyes but Shivaay cut her in between
"Challenge accepted!"Shivaay did his infamous hair flick and Anika smirked

"Come"Anika moved towards the shop and sat down on the benches kept there. Shivaay sat infront of her and Anika smiled at him

"Bolo ji...ki logy?"The boy came there and asked them
"Gol Gappy..."Anika said still looking at Shivaay
"Kinnae?"
"Chotay paji..tussi bas laaty jao..today no limit"Anika said pinching the boy's cheek and the boy left nodding

Anika folded her sleeves up smirking at Shivaay.
"Haar maan lo Anika!"[Accept ur lose Anika] Shivaay shrugged his shoulders
"Don't be so over-confident, Love"Anika played with her hair strands which came on her face.

The boy brought two plates of gol gappa with the pani and put it infront of them

"1.2.3 Go!"Anika said and stuffed the gol gappa in her mouth at once and there Shivaay stuffed as well.

In a blink of an eye both finished the plate and the boy brought the other one. The second plate finished in seconds and then came the third followed by fourth,fifth and it went on.

Shivaay's tears were falling down from his eyes while Anika's eyes just glistened by some water.

"U are crying Shivaay. Leave it!"Anika teased him between him and ate her gol gappa but Shivaay just gave her a look.

There became a pile of plates and half of the pani was on the table

Anika went on eating but her tears started to fall as well. Shivaay saw a gol gappa that he was going to eat but put it down back because now he can't eat more. Anika smiled and looked at her plate. 2 gol gappas were there and one was in her hand. Although she had enough but she ate that gol gappa and ate them two which were in her plate. Twisting her lips she looked at him with a winning smile and tear strained face. Shivaay looked at her helplessky with a tear-strained face as well.

"I'll make u something that will help u digest these gol gappas, once we reach home"Anika said wiping the tears of Shivaay
He didn't even drive to home that time cause he had too much gol gappas.

A/N:
So updating late has become one of my routine I guess.
Well, u might get hint that I have gone through the Rab ne Bana Di Jodi and written the dialouges. The Gol Gappa scene wasn't in my mind at all but last week when I was returning from coaching I saw the Gol Gappa stall and this striked my mind😉
So tell me if I wrote this gol gappa part well😊
