The next day the kids went back to Victoria. You all decided it was better to take little steps, before they can stay longer. And this evening was a very important moment for you. Your book that had been made into a movie had its first screening. From the day the filming wrapped till now you couldn't really do much. It was on the people who paid for the production to make it into a movie now. You hadn't seen it yourself and that was also a reason why you were hella excited. You already bought a dress during the convention in New York. You figured that they would have fancy dresses and you were right. It was made out of a thin layer of black fabric which was full of green sequins. They flashed in blue and gold as soon as the dress moved. It was beautiful. Usually you weren't all about this glitter stuff but you liked this dress a lot. In the end it was not too fancy. Just something a little different and you felt comfortable in it. So it was just the perfect dress for tonight. You got your hair and make up done and this was also something really special for you. You usually didn't put much effort into your appearance. A little bit of mascara and concealer was everything. That's why it was funny that someone did Misha's make up almost everyday. He was almost more experienced with this than you. Sometimes you made jokes about it, but today was your turn to put your face in some other hands.
Misha was watching from the doorframe as the artist put mascara on your lashes. You really wanted to look over to him but the man kept telling you what you had to do with your eyes next. Misha seemed to notice your discomfort and stepped closer until you could feel his hand on your shoulder. "Hey, you look beautiful! Don't worry, they will all be speechless when they see what a pretty fiancee I have.". You smiled even though you couldn't see Misha right now, because you needed to have your eyes closed. His words still comforted you. Yes you were still his fiancee. You really wanted to get married as the child was on its way. But as soon as your little boy had left you and you started to travel around, there just never seemed to be the right moment for it. You thought about a spontaneous wedding in Vegas during the convention there. But then you decided you wanted your family and friends around, or at least the kids. And since then you never talked about this again. You didn't know if it was because Misha wanted to give you the time you needed or if he just forgot about it. Or maybe he even thought you didn't want to marry him anymore. As this thought came into your head you decided you should talk about this with him as soon as possible, because you still wanted to. While the guy was continuing doing your make up you remembered the time when you started making wedding plans. Back then Misha and you were still a pretty fresh couple. It was just after your first GISHWHES when Misha proposed to you. But then there was his accident and the night as you left him. After you got back together you started writing the book and the baby was crowing inside your belly. And right as you started again making wedding plans you lost the child. So somehow it seemed like the universe maybe didn't want you to get married. But you still loved this man and you could imagine nothing better than being officially called his wife. If there was anything that was more important to you than any dress, every make up artist or any miscarriage then it was Misha. Misha was the thing you loved the most, above anything else in this world.
"I am done" the makeup artist said as he finally stepped away from you a bit. He lifted his hand and looked at your face critically one last time, before agreeing with himself that this was all he could do. "Thank you" you smiled, happy that you could finally get out of this chair. You got on your feet and walked over to the mirror to look at what he had done. It was a real masterpiece. You thought that you had never seen your face like this before. It looked really professional. And even though you still didn't see a reason in doing this every day, you were still happy your best friend convinced you in booking this guy. You had a long phone call with her about if she would come and what you needed to prepare for this event. At first your plan was it to get makeup artists for the two of you and she got really excited about it. But then she had some troubles at work why she couldn't get the day off. So you were sad that she wasn't here with you today, but you still had Misha. He had walked down into the kitchen to get a glass of water, but right in this moment he came back in and you turned around to face him. "Babe, look at this. I almost look like a super model!" you squealed a little. And it seemed to be true because as you looked at Misha you saw that he almost dropped his glass and his mouth flew open. "Y-yeah you do." he stuttered a little but then he started smiling and came closer to you to lay one arm around your waist. "No! You look even better than a super model." he grinned down at you in this Lucifer kind of way. This smile always had it's special effects on you and your knees got weak. So you were happy he had his arm slung around you to hold you up. "I am glad you like it, but now I need to get dressed." you said very close to his smile. "Would like it better the other way around." Misha stated right as you had freed yourself from his arm. You walked away, but made one last turn before you stepped through the door to looked into his eyes.
