The screening went pretty amazing that night and the people seemed to like it a lot. Thats why you got a call the next day that some important TV show wanted to interview you. You got really excited and of course wanted to do this. It felt great that Misha wasn't the only one in your relationship anymore who was successful. Of course you were proud of him, but you always feared that he could think you can do nothing or that you are boring. On the other hand you also knew he never would, but it was still your unrealistic, overdramatic mind that told you so. The man on the other line said "The interview will be next week in our studio in New York at the 9th of February. We will fly you over here and also pay for your accommodation and everything you need. You have to worry about nothing, just agree." You got really excited but then thought about something "Wait. Uhm.. that's the anniversary of me and my fiancee.". But the man answered "Oh no problem! You can just bring him along. We will also pay for this and you can spend some days in New York City together. Doesn't that sound great?". "Yeah, of course it does! Thank you very much!". "Okay, we will talk about the details later! Bye.". You hung up and couldn't wait to tell Misha the news. A romantic trip to winterly New York sounded about right for you two, maybe you could even walk through a snowy Central Park together. So you walked downstairs where Misha was making himself a cup of tea.
You came in the kitchen and hugged him from behind. As you slung your arms around his waist he was just taking the first sip from his mug. "Misha, I have a surprise for you.". "What is it babe?" he asked while carefully turning around. "The producer of this famous morning magazine in New York called me. He wants me to come on his show for and interview about my movie!" you told him. "Oh how exciting is that?! I am so proud of you!" Misha kissed you. "And the best thing about it is that you will come with me! And guess what? It's exactly on our anniversary, the 9th of February! We will celebrate it in the beautiful New York!!". In this moment Misha frowned "But honey, I have to shoot on this day in Vancouver. I thought you would come with me and we spend as much time as possible together." he rubbed your back. "So you want me to cancel it?" you raised your eyebrows. "No, no I am not saying this. But maybe there is another day for it or something." Misha said. "But you want me to change my plans?! So it's always about your career? You work everyday on TV and are famous and when I have one little thing then I can't do it? So it's always you first, isn't it?" you said with tears in your eyes. You didn't want to cry, you wanted to be strong, but you couldn't. The thought of Misha not supporting your career hurt just to much. "No! That's not what I am trying to say! I will always support you (Y/N), with everything you do. But does it have to be on this day?" Misha still tried to rub your back but you didn't want to be in his arms right now, you were to mad at him. You freed yourself from his arms and walked outside of the kitchen, upstairs into the bedroom. On your way there you grabbed a tissue out of the little box that was standing on the dresser. You tried to dry the tears a little, that were in your eyes before your mascara started running. As you finally reached the bed you thought about just letting you fall into it with your whole body, because that was what you needed right now. You felt so exhausted out of a sudden that every cell of you was aching. But you decided for just crapping a big pillow and wrapping your arms around it. You still tried to hold it all together and not cry but it really hurt that Misha wasn't standing behind you and your work.
In this moment the door opened and Misha stepped through. "Hey, I can understand that you are sad because you can't go! But I am sure there will be some other opportunity for you one day." You sniffed. "Who said that I am not going?" you asked confused. This topic wasn't over for you yet and if Misha couldn't go with you then you had to go on your own. "Because it's our anniversary and I want you with me!" Misha said. "No, but it doesn't work that way! If you want to be with me on our anniversary, then you have to go with me! So you have to cancel your shooting! Not the other way around!" you let go of your pillow. "What?" Misha frowned."Hey babe thats no reason for getting unrealistic." he tried to reach you with his hand. "ME GETTING UNREALISTIC?! You have to be kidding me!" you sprung off the bed and took a step back. "Hey calm down sweetie!" Misha still tried to reach you with his hand. He really tried to convince you that his opinion was right. He really thought it was okay to hinder your career for his own. "I don't wanna talk to you at the moment. Please, leave me alone." you told him. "But honey..." he came closer to you. "Go out! Leave me alone!" you yelled at him. Misha flinched and took some steps back. He started grabbing his stuff while you were still standing in the corner of the room staring at him. He was quiet before he said "I am gonna go pick up the kids now. I don't think we will come over. I will go eat something with them and then bring them straight to Victoria. Don't expect me here before nine.". With this words he left the room and closed the door behind him. It was so empty around you from one minute to the next. You exhaled and sunk to the ground. All of your energy had left you. The fight with Misha had taken all of your strength.
