Devante's POV

The next morning

We all went back home from Miracle's house since it was Sunday and we had to get ready for church

"Ayo De why have you and Miracle been acting so weird lately" Dalvin asked as we were walking down the stairs to get to the car

"Whatchu talking about Dal" I asked

"You know what I'm talking about y'all two have been together like glue ever since we all met in the 5th grade" Dalvin said as we got in the car waiting for our parents

"I know what your trying to say Dal but we're just friends" I said

"What about that kiss last night then" Dalvin mumbled

"You eavesdropped on us Dal" I asked him in disbelief

"Hey it's not my fault I just woke up about to get a capri sun cause I was thirsty and I saw y'all kissing why don't ya'll just be a couple already" Dalvin said

"Look Dal it's just that I don't wanna ruin our friendship" I said

"Mhm whatever" Dal said rolling his eyes then our parents got in the car and drove us to church

We got there an hour early since our father is the pastor, I play the piano and Dalvin plays the drums so we had to practice then K-Ci and JoJo had to practice the songs their singing

Bye the time we finished practicing every one started walking in and when I saw Miracle I couldn't help but smile at how beautiful she looked she even wore a dress this time

"Hey Miracle" we said

"Hey wassup ya'll looking quit dapper this Sunday" she said chuckling

"Thank you" we said as we bowed

"Hey Miracle can we talk for a minute" I asked grabbing her hand and she nodded

Miracle's POV

After Devante asked me to talk I nodded and we walked outside the church

"So I can see you finally decided to wear a dress" he said as I rolled my eyes playfully

"Yeah I just decided to but I had to ask my mom for one" I said as he let out a deep chuckle wich sent chills down my spine

"But you look beautiful in a dress tho you should wear them more often" he said as he enertwined our hands together and bought me closer then I looked into his beautiful hazel eyes

We got closer about to kiss and just before our lips touched my mom open the door and when she saw us her eyes almost popped out of her head then she smiled

"I knew it" she said as we looked at each other then back at her clueless

"Uh mom-" I tried to say but she cut me off

"It's alright but y'all two have to come back in it's about to start" she said smiling weird at us

"Ok" we said then we walked back in and I sat next to my mom along with Leyla and Destiny with there mom's
