3- Golden Day

Jimin wakes up to someone throwing some pillows straight to his face , and assumes it could be none other than Taehyung messing with his nerves , again ... 

He tries to bear it until one comes flying directly on his half-opened eyes , making him groan and jump on his dongsaeng , straddling him on his bedroom's floor , giggling as he starts to tickle him

They keep on messing with each other until Namjoon calls both of them to join the rest of the group for breakfast 

They make their way to the living room , and as they reach the table , Jimin's eyes widen in fear ... of course ... he should have remembered ...

In front of him sits a smirking maknae , a crown on top of his head and a cake with a lighten up candle on top of it ... 

Today ... 1st of September... is the only day of the year when nobody can interfere with Jungkook's action , and it is the day Jimin fears the most ... Today was the golden maknae's king day , it was Jungkook's Birthday...

Jimin slowly makes his way on one of the chairs , looking at the floor , debating if he should wish him a happy birthday or not , but his thoughts are quickly interrupted by a loud bang , causing the poor boy to look up in worry , eyes on the maknae whom has a huge smirk plastered on his face and his right fist slammed on the table , the other hand flat next to it 

Jimin hesitates and slowly speaks up..

"Ha-happy birthday koo-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP ! I don't wanna hear your fucking voice on my birthday ! Go hide yourself in your room fat pig !"

Jimin slowly eases himself from the chair , until Namjoon stops him

"Jimin , please stay with us and eat breakfast peacefully .. Jungkook , don't be stubborn , let him eat with us , and then we'll live"

Jungkook death-glares at Jimin , who hangs his head low and takes a piece of the food Jin prepared earlier 

Everyone eats and tries to cheer the mood up for the baby's birthday , but without success 

After everybody is done , Jin and Jimin clean the dishes while the others are preparing the cake for Kook and getting ready to sing for him 

Jimin gently taps Jin's shoulder with his small hand , letting him know that he could take care of the rest of the dishes and that the older should go for the cake moment , knowing that he himself was unwanted there 

Jin apologetically thanks Jimin , kissing his forehead in comfort , and goes back into the living room 

They begin singing for Jungkook and all cheer together , except for Jimin , who is singing alone to his beloved dongsaeng from in the kitchen , a single tear gently running down his left cheek , ending its course in the rictus of his mouth , living a salted taste that Jimin knew too well ... 

Hearing footsteps coming his way , he quickly wipes his tears and puts on a bright smile , seeing the members heading over the exit door

"Chim ! We're going to see if we can find some gift for Kookie ! Please could you do the laundry this time ? We'll be there in time for the shooting with Shinee !"

"Of course Hoseok hyung !" Jimin says , a fake smile on 

Yes , Jimin was like the housekeeper of their dorm . He used to do all the cleaning and laundry , not that he cared , not at all , it kept him occupied and away from Jungkook , it gave him a reason to not fall into depression , again.. 

He keeps on cleaning the kitchen , humming some random songs to himself , until he feels a strong arm sneak around his waist and swing him around 

Of course he knows who is the owner , and starts shaking a little in fear and anticipation He stops breathing as a smooth voice come to his ears

"Sooo looks like my Jiminie doesn't have any present for me today ? Should I make you give me one ?" The boy said clenching Jimin's earlobe between his teeth

The latter's voice sends chills through his spine and makes him shift uncomfortably

"I...I do have something for you...Please don't get mad...D-do you want i-it now ?"

Jungkook looks at him with big round eyes and a light smirk appears on his lips

"Yeah , I'm curious what a useless slut like you could have got me ..."

Jimin nods and runs to his bedroom

He has been preparing this gift with all his love for the maknae , he just hopes Jungkook won't throw it away 

He kneels in front of his bed and smiles at the box that is lying on the ground under it , catching it and heading back towards the kitchen 

Nervously , he hands it to the maknae and lowers his head , a little shy and slightly frightened 

Jungkook takes the box and leaves his hyung , clearly annoyed by his submissive expression 

He seats on the living room's couch and unwraps the present . When the gift comes to his sight , he doesn't know what to think anymore 

Sparkles in his eyes , he eases the content of the box on his knees, and smiling like an idiot , he , for a moment , forgets about his hatred towards his before beloved hyung 

In front of him stands a beautiful pair of yellow timberlands , a pitch black finely styled beanie and the very recently released last technology speakers , all preciously wrapped in gold gift paper 

Squealing like a high school girl , Jungkook jumps on his hyung and warmly wraps his arms around his shaking body , mouthing a 'thank you hyung' in the embrace

Jimin is very confused . With the maknae still wrapped around him , he eventually starts responding to the hug , until Jungkook breaks it and flies back to his new acquittances , already getting in his new shoes 

Jimin watches the latter enjoying his present , and wonders for how long will the good mood last  

He's still admiring lovingly his beloved one when the front door of their dorm opens , revealing the other members and their gifts to the maknae 

Everybody cheers for him and get ready for the shooting , and BTS being BTS , they are already late ... Jimin looks one last time at his brothers before closing the door behind him , heading first to the shooting place because Jungkook is going to celebrate a little with the members during the car ride and he surely wouldn't want Jimin to be there ...

Poor poor Jimin... *love*
