After that little.. 'incident' you tried your best to just act like it was normal. If anyone asked you about it you just said that you accidentally ran into a pole.
You were currently at your last job which is Mickeys Circus. You walk backstage and Mickey immediately tackles you as always. Mickey had a big grin on his face until he saw the state of your face.
He immediately starts to panic and he says "Oh gosh, Schel! How did you get these?" He put a hand to your bruised cheek only for you to hiss in pain. He immediately draws his hand back and he says "Oh my... that looks like it hurts a lot..."
You nod a little then you sign 'Don't worry, Mick. Just clumsy ol me running into lamp posts.' Mickey squints his eyes at you getting a bit suspicious. "Schel, ya can't play games with me. I know something didn't cause this, it was someONE." This mouse can see right through you.
You let out a small sigh then you sign 'Okay okay you got me. I just got it from my boss that's all.' Mickey looks surprised then he says "Your boss?! Why would he do such a thing to you?! Oh that big meanie!"
You smile a bit at Mickeys concern and he starts to speak again "I'll go get an ice pack for ya. Just stay here okay?" You nod as Mickey rushes off to go and get you and Ice pack. You look around the backstage and soon found a box where you can sit, and that's exactly what you do. While you were waiting for Mickey to come back, you just started to sign 'fuck' over and over.
How mature.
After several 'fucks' were signed, Mickey came with an ice pack. He gently placed it on your eye then he says "This 'Boss' of yours needs to be teached a lesson. I mean, who hits their worker?! And a woman too?! That's so mean!" You start to laugh making Mickey pout then you sign 'Its fine, Mickey, really. It will heal up in a few days.' Mickey lets out a sigh then he says "Well, alright then..."
You look at the time on your watch and you tap on it so it can get Mickeys attention. Mickey looks at the clock then he says "Almost time for the show, eh? Well I'll go get ready. Are you sure you'll be okay?" You nod then sign 'Its just a few bruises, Mick. I'll be okay.' Mickey nods then he hands you the ice pack, stand up, and goes to the backroom to go and get ready.
You held the ice pack to your face and you sat up and went to where the lights where.
Its show time!
( Mini time skip to after the show )
You smile as everyone takes a bow as you slowly start to close the curtains. You climb down from the top and you land on your feet. gEt it CAUse yOur A cAT AHEEEEEEEEEE
You shake your hands to get rid of the numb feeling and Mickey gives you a hug like always. You smile back at Mickey as he leads you and the rest of the group to the backroom. "As a little celebration, how about some tea for everyone?" Mickey suggests and everyone nods their heads in agreement. Mickey's smile widens as he goes to the kitchen and goes to prepare the tea.
Everyone sits at the table and soon Oswald comes into the kitchen as well as the bunny children behind him. He sits at one of the seats and he waves at you. You wave back as you feel a bunny child sit on your lap. You look down and its the same bunny child from last time. How do you know? Well easy! Its starting to grow green hair!
You smile down at the little bunny child and you pet the top of its head. Its starts to purr which makes your smile widen. You rest your chin on the top of the table and you close your eyes just listening to the other chatter and the childs purring.
Soon, the tea was done and he gave everyone a cup. "You want one too, Oswald?" You hear Mickey say and you don't hear a reply as always. "Well alright then. If ya wan't some, it'll be on the stove!" Mickey takes a seat at the table as you open your eyes and look at the cup in front of you.
You see the steam coming out of it and it seems to calm you. Though, you will have to wait a while until you can drink it. But for now, you just watch as the steam floats into the air and disappears.
Soon, the steam started to become less but it was still there. You lifted your head from the table and you picked up the cup. You placed the cup by your lips and took a sip.
And you burned your tongue.
