'Bill, I think we should give it a little break' I said

We were all stood outside the wellhouse, after pennywise just nearly killed Eddie

'Y-you too? -i- thought we were i-in this together' he frowned

'We are! Im always going to be here for you billy, but I think for now we need to take a step back. Look at Eddie! Look at ben! We are playing a dangerous game' I said

'W-well, I g-guess I don't need you' he said

'Bill- '

'No! g-Georgie needs m-me. I-im going to find h-him with or without you' he said and grabbed his bike

'Bill, she's right' Ben said

'no, we can't pretend it's going to go away ben you said yourself it comes back every 27 years' Beverly said

'Fine, in 27 years will be 40 and far away from here' he said, 'I thought you said you wanted to get out of here too?'

'Because I want to run towards something... not away' Beverly said

Bill looked at her and gave her a little smile, the pang of jealousy in my stomach rising

I knew bill always liked Beverly ever since that play they did where they kissed, but I thought maybe once we got together he wouldn't see her like that again

I wasn't concentrating and the next thing I know Bill punched Richie

'Bill!' I shouted and grabbed Richie off the floor

'o-of course you're on h-his side' he said

'I not taking sides!'

'W-we're done y/n' he said

I stopped and looked at him

'You don't mean that' I said

He shook his head 'y-yes I do'

He grabbed his bike and walked of, Beverly following him

'y/n- 'Richie tried to grab me but I pulled away

'No Richie, just leave me alone'

A few weeks passed, luckily no more kids were reported missing which hopefully meant the clown was gone

I was currently sat under the tree reading a book when I saw a bike pull in front of me

I lowered the book to see bill there

'y/n' he mumbled, his voice low

'what do you want?' I asked

'A-a chance to apologise' he said and sat down next to me

'There's no point bill you made yourself clear' I said

'I-I didn't mean it'

'Really? So why has it taken you so long to come find me? I get you were angry Bill, I know you want to find Georgie! I want to find him too, to make you happy. That's why I started this whole thing with you and the rest of the guys. For you. You think I want to go around trying to get myself killed? No, but I did it for you. We all did it for you, you don't see that. I didn't go in that house and save your ass for nothing. I mean im shit scared bill. But instead of you understanding you just ended it, like the last 5 months meant nothing to you.' I said

'N-no that's not true'

'Come on, we both know im never going to be the girl you want.'

He frowned 'what?'

'it's Beverly. It will always be Beverly.' I said and go up

He grabbed my arm

He placed his hand on my cheek 'it's never been Beverly y/n, it never will'

H never stuttered once saying that, showing that he did mean it

He slowly leaned down connecting our lips for a brief second 'Please, o-one last chance?'

I slowly nodded and kissed him once more

'come on' I said

'w-where we going?'

'To finish what we started, let's kill this clown'

He smiled and grabbed my hand
