Closed away
Written on a note
Thrown into
The middle of the waves
One day
It may reach me again
Or get lost
In the ocean
Trapped inside a bottle
Drifting away from shore
Leaving my heart torn
Love will be no more
As far as it may be
It will always drift back to me
Leaving me to capture the feelings
That I refuse to see
I know it's not right
It shouldn't have been
Love is a game
That I cannot win
I won't allow
What never was mine
To enter my heart
To go through my mind
To store my feelings in this bottle
And throw it into the sea
Will allow me to believe
I'm finally free
Eventually it will drift back
And I will have to face
The feelings I packed
Inside this glass case
