The sky is gray with storm clouds
I feel the wind on my face
I see the rain fall faster
I seek no drier place
I can't go on any longer
The evening bled with blue
There's no hope being stronger
My time has come to lose
When will my days seek ending?
When will my days grow short?
How can I keep from sinking
When I see no more shore?
Can I sleep forever?
The stars still glow at night
Eternal rest come closer
Tuck me in, hold me tight
The suns rays shine at daylight
I wonder why I can see
The blessed morning from the window
I woke up from my sleep
Again and again the sun rises
I continue to wake
Why can't I rest any longer
Rest past dawn's break
Every night has a morning
Every rain has a sun
Every ocean has land near
Every person has someone
The end may be coming
But in time's choosing day
Trust always in Him
For he'll find a way
For life to be better
It always will be
But if sadness is what kills you
You've ended early
Look beyond the darkness
Find the light always there
The fire glows brighter
Every time you're aware
That life may be tough
In every way
Fight through your struggle
Life wants you to stay

lol ok so I was scrolling through my notes and found this old poem I wrote (April 2018) and honestly I'm surprised I even wrote it hahahah [lowkey doubting that this is my work because I don't remember writing this??] .
It's kinda deep and I must've been going through some really petty drama or something, but I feel like this poem can reach out to a lot of people, and give them a reason to wake up everyday :)
