Same warning as the last chapter, though this one will be small so I can get on to the Inej chapter.  Hoohoo am I excited to write that!

Kaz let her unbutton his shirt, and as it fell to the ground she grabbed him back to her, but Kaz stopped her from kissing him.

"Are you sure about this?"  She laughed.

"Are you scared?"  Kaz huffed a breath.

"Because you sound scared to me.  You're stalling Brekker."  Kaz growled and kissed her again.  She held onto his shoulders, and soon she hopped off the counter, forcing him back.  She walked him back into the bedroom, and Kaz let her.  Once they were in the room she kicked the door closed.  He pressed her against the wall, hands teasing her.  Evalin's eyes closed, and Kaz murmured onto her skin,

"You're beautiful."  Evalin kissed him gently at that.  He slowly undid her top undergarment and let it fall to the floor.  Evalin pressed close to him and his hands wrapped around her waist, just holding her.  She kissed his neck, then his jaw.  Kaz's fingers stroked down her back and she arched into him slightly.  He let her go and she looked up at him.

"Where is this going?"  Kaz tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.

"That's for you to decide."  Evalin had a conflicted look on her face but after a moment she angelically walked over to the bed and sat down.  Kaz prowled over to her and knelt down in front of her.  He put his hands on her thighs and–

The doorbell rang.  Kaz let go of her and Evalin stood.

"Who could be calling at this hour?"  Kaz told her to stay and he walked over slowly to the door, stopping to put on his shirt and then opening the door a crack.

"Who are you?"  It was an attractive young, blonde man with deep blue eyes and tan skin.

"I'm Evalin's boyfriend.  Who are you?" Kaz gave him an incredulous look.

"You mean her ex?"  The man rolled his eyes.

"Whatever.  What are you doing here anyway?"  Kaz opened the door wider and the man growled.

"Where is she?"  Kaz rolled his eyes.

"Leave.  She doesn't want you here."  The man drew back a fist and Kaz caught it with ease as it sailed for his face.  Same with the other.  What Kaz was not expecting, however, was the foot that connected with his bad knee.

Hello!  So I know this is short compared to the last one, I didn't want to go too far.  Hope it was okay, can't wait to see your reactions to the next Inej chapter!  I'm excited.  Please pardon any mistakes, vote, and comment!
