Chapter 4

You were on your back with a certain corporal standing above you. His hand was outstretched towards you, as a way to haul you up. While the other cadets had gathered around to watch the spectacle (the spectacle of you being beaten up by a man slightly shorter than you...). "Oi, are you going to take it or what?" Levi questioned while wiggling his fingers impatiently.

With a deep breath and a devious smile you took corporal Levi's hand. Just as he was about to pull you up, you pulled down on his hand with an extravagant amount of force. The man held in a surprised gasp as he stumbled forward, in return you kicked at his feet. Time stopped as you kicked forward and upward, your booted feet connecting with the man's stomach, allowing gravity and velocity to do the rest corporal Levi soon found himself on the dirty ground behind you.

You hopped upwards, only to meet the shocked and frightened looks of your fellow cadets, half of their eyes on the fallen corporal, while the other half on you.

Levi had felt the air rush from his lungs. No one had ever put him down during the past few years he had been a soldier. No one, not even the titans had managed to do that. Everyone had been to afraid of him to do anything, everyone but her.

His once surprised expression turned quickly back into his regular stoic glare, as the corporal stood up and dusted himself off. He turned around to his 'attacker' as the other cadets seemed to be holding their breath.

The girl in front of him had her eyes slightly widened. He could see the slight amount of fear in her (e/c) eyes, but there was something else. Something that always filled Hanji's eyes whenever she was around titans. And that was curiosity.

You slightly arched an eyebrow, a small devious smirk played at the edges of your lips. You saw the shorter man dust off his white clothes, and it was then you realized the dark dust stains that marked them. One of the cadets let out a gasp as they saw the dirt on the corporals clothes, and regretfully he seemed to notice to.

His what seemed to be calm demeanor changed in a flash, as the man marched closer to you. Reaching a hand out corporal Levi grabbed a fistful of your shirt while pulling you closer to him. "I don't care about the fact that you put me down." He growled in your ear, "but what I do care about is the state of my uniform." The other cadets around you seemed to cower in fear from the dark aura that surrounded the corporal. "After we are done, you will follow me to my quarters. And you will scrub my clothes clean of any sign of filth. Do you understand me brat?"

As long as you can remember, your parents had aloud you to speak your mind. So it was no surprise when your tongue slipped, "and will you be in your clothes while I'm doing this, or will you be removing them?" You replied back.

Levi stared back at you with slightly widened eyes. You swore you saw the corners of his mouth slowly curl in a however brief smile. But all that changed when the corporal shoved you backwards, causing you to stumble and fall into the dirt. "Now on your feet idiot. We're going again."
