"How are you today, Pha?", Kit asked as he came into the room. Phana smiled softly as he looked at at his close friend.

"I am fine. Never better. Where is Beam?" Phana asked as he got up and sat on the bed. Kit just gave him a small smile as he came towards the other.

"He's off for today. Maybe he is with Forth now. I remember he said that today is their anniversary." Kit said as he looked at the machine that beeped on the side of the bed.

"My vital is normal, Kit. You don't really need to check it. I am a doctor too, remember?" Phana rolled his eyes. Kit just chuckled and laughed it off.

"You know the procedure, right?" Kit replied as he took some notes and jot it down the file he was holding.

"Okay, I need to take your heart rate." Kit said as he put the stethoscope in his ears and another end on Phana's chest. He listened to Phana's heartbeat carefully and nodded in satisfaction. Finally he pulled out his stethoscopes from his ears and sat down beside Phana.

"It's tomorrow." Phana said softly, almost to the point of whispers. Kit looked at Phana and the atmosphere turned a bit gloomy. Phana looked so sad as he looked down, his fingers fiddling and trembling nervously.

"Ai Pha. Calm down." Kit told him as he pat behind Phana's back.

"It is supposed to be our third anniversary tomorrow, Kit. How can I live when our supposedly wedding anniversary turns into his death anniversary?" Phana said as he swipe his hair backwards, his eyes glossy with tears. His whole body shook when he suddenly sobbed hard.

Kit just hugged Phana tightly as he let Phana cried in his embrace. This is the usual routine for almost everyday.

Ever since Wayo died, Phana's life had revolves only around that day. Phana counted every single day that had pass by, each day his depression became worse than before. It's been two years since he was admitted in the hospital. Beam and Kit specifically asked to be his personal doctor in order to help him gets better, but it looked like otherwise happened.

"I miss him so much. So much that I feel like exploding when I think about him." Phana said in between the sobs.

"I know. I know. Pha, we are going to bring you to meet him tomorrow. I hope it will help you to go through this pain." Kit coaxed softly, hoping it would at least calm his friend down. Phana always cheered up when they brought him to Wayo's grave.

After a while, Phana finally stopped crying. Kit let him go and patted his back softly.

"I have to go and visit the next patient. I shall come and see you tomorrow okay?" Kit told Phana. He nodded slowly while staring at his bedsheet with an empty stare.

Phana can hear the soft pitter patter of the rain starting to fall down onto the room's window. He remembered that on days like this, Wayo would whined to him about how gloomy the day will be, and he would always be the one saying some witty things to cheer Wayo's mood up.

He knew very well that Wayo is gone the moment the car hit Wayo's body. The accident took Wayo's life almost immediately. Wayo's left side had taken the impact of the collision and caused great internal bleeding. Wayo's rib cage had punctured his lungs, making his ends very unbearable to watch. And even worse, Phana was right there. The accident happened in front of his very eyes, but he was helpless to do anything. He is a doctor, yet he couldn't save his Wayo. It haunted him every single day, giving him nightmares every single night.

Every night, he always dreamed of the same thing. And tonight also, he dreamt the same thing. Wayo's last words.

Wayo seemed to be in great pain as he tried to breathe. His bloody hands was on Phana's cheeks, smearing Phana's white skin with his blood.

"P'Pha...." Wayo croaked softly. Phana remembered he cradling Wayo's head in his embrace as Wayo was holding on to his life.

"P'Pha, listen. You'll be okay. You're the strongest person I know. Because you are my P'Pha. My Phana Kongthanin." Wayo uttered with difficulty. Each of his words came along with splutters of blood coming out from his mouth.

"Wayo! Please don't leave me! I need you." Phana pleaded as he kissed Wayo's forehead. His tears started streaming down, but Wayo wiped it away with his hands.

"P'Pha, don't cry. Remember our wedding vows that we made? Till death do us apart? Now it's my time to go. I will wait for you there. I love you." Wayo slurred. His words started to become very unclear.

Phana held Wayo very close as he started to sob uncontrollably.

"Hush my angel. I will always be with you. It's my time to go..." Wayo's words stopped abruptly. His hands that was caressing Phana's cheeks fell down that instant. And that very same moment, Phana's heart broke into million pieces.

"Wayo!!!" Phana woke up while screaming out Wayo's name. Everyday, he will be living this moment in his sleep. He had enough of crying, but he couldn't stop himself from crying out.

He sat down as he closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. Today is Wayo's death day. At least he should show Wayo that he is okay. Wayo told him to be okay.

"P'Pha, why are you crying?"

Phana heard a familiar voice coming from the door. He froze as he slowly opened his eyes.

"P'Pha, are you okay?"

Phana couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the person walking gracefully towards him.

"Wa...Wayo?"
