riverdale season 2; cast, storylines, spoilers and more

recent pictures have emerged from behind the scenes of riverdale season 2, leaving fans questioning what's to come. camila mendes who plays veronica lodge has been captured wearing a gorgeous wedding dress, and fan favourite luke perry, who plays fred andrews has been captured alive and well. but that isn't all we've noticed about the upcoming season.

ross butler who played reggie mantle throughout season 1 will not be returning for season 2 due to his commitments to, netflix original, 13 reasons why. the role will instead be played by charles melton who we've seen many times already on costar, kj apa's, instagram.

following reports released last week and interview with the producers of riverdale, it has been confirmed that actress, model, and singer, charlotte swan is joining the cast as kourtney humphries. as she is not a character in the comics, her character is still currently a mystery to us but fans have began to speculate that she is a love interest for reggie due to the evident sexual tension shown on the teaser trailer.
