Dearest Memories,

I know this body

I know this frame

I've smelled this scent

I've spoken its name

I've laughed and cried

I've lost all pride

To be here

So where are you?

Can't you feel this body?

Can't you see this frame?

Of course not

How could I have ever expected you to feel the same?

Granted, you did not vanish, it was me

But I only did so to make you see

I care more than the average lover

I'm willing to keep my heart, undercover

To stand aside and watch you dance

To watch you smile

To watch you get a second chance

At love, at bliss, at happiness

Could you not have found this with me?

My hands are cuffed

My eyes are puffed

I tried to stay away

Look what happened

I knew I'd loose myself to you

But not in this way

I will apologize for much

Scars, wounds, boldness and such

But a cannot make such a promise and keep it true

I will not apologize for falling sick with love for you.
