Halloween Special: Godzilla VS The Wolfman

Description: Godzilla and the others come across another fearsome creature on Halloween.

The moon climbed high into the sky as Godzilla looked on at his celebrating friends. Once again, Halloween dawned on Monster Island, and once again, everyone was dressed up for the holiday. Godzilla himself was dressed as Nightwing from DC comics. To mach with him, Mothra had dressed up as Starfire. It was a pretty authentic costume since she could fly as well. Meanwhile, Anguirus had dressed as Duke Nukem from the videogame of the same name, while Rodan was dressed as Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars. Mothra again convinced Battra and Leo to dress up. This year, Battra was dressed as Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler, and Leo was dressed as Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy, complete with a massive cardboard buster sword. Zilla still hadn't convinced Komi to dress as Yoko from Gurren Lagann. Instead, she was dressed as Kim Possible from the cartoon of the same name. Since Zilla wanted to match at least a little, he dressed as Jake Long from American Dragon, since it was also a Disney show. Baragon was actually in costume this year, dressed as Simon the Digger from Gurren Lagann. Muto was dressed as Morrigan from Darkstalkers, as per Mothra's idea. She wasn't familiar with the character, but she liked the costume. But just like last year, the celebration wouldn't last long. At one point during the night, Dogzilla began barking and running in circles. Mothra approached him and knelt down.
"What's wrong, boy?" She asked. Dogzilla ran over to Mothra and stood up on his hind legs, placing his front paws on her, as of trying to get her attention. She thought this was strange. Godzilla came over to them soon after.
"What's up with Dogzilla?" He asked. Dogzilla did the same thing to him, while also barking. He was definitely trying to get their attention.
"I think he's trying to tell us something." Mothra guessed.
Godzilla stood up, making Dogzilla stand back on all fours. He ran a few feet away, and then turned and barked again, trying to get them to follow him. Godzilla rolled his eyes.
"Why can't we just have fun on Halloween like normal people?" He asked.
"Not a lot of the stuff that happens to us isn't exactly normal, Godzilla." Mothra reminded.
"Yeah, guess you're right." Godzilla chuckled. "C'mon, let's follow him."

Dogzilla lead Godzilla and Mothra into the forest, way farther than they would normally go on a normal day. It was pitch black, and honestly pretty scary. Mothra began walking a little closer to Godzilla.
"What could Dogzilla want out here?" She asked, gulping down her nervousness.
"I dunno." Godzilla said. He placed a hand on his sword, which he kept on his belt. "But I don't like the looks of this."
"M-maybe we should just turn back." Mothra said. "I have a really bad feeling here. I'm starting to sense something really bad." Godzilla nodded.
"...You're right. We'll deal with this in the morning-" Suddenly, two figures wearing dark cloaks and monster masks appeared out of nowhere. They shouted loudly, trying to surprise the two. Mothra shrieked in terror, and Godzilla quickly brought out his sword. At the first sight of the sharp blade, the figures backed up.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, it's just us!" One of the figures said. He removed his mask and cloak, revealing himself to be Rodan. The other revealed himself to be Anguirus. When they saw Godzilla and Mothra relax, they began laughing. Mothra groaned angrily.
"What the hell is wrong with you two?!" She shouted.
"Yeah, that wasn't funny." Godzilla snapped. Anguirus and Rodan continued to laugh, until another figure appeared behind them. He wasn't wearing a mask, however. This was clearly Battra. Before either Rodan or Anguirus could react, Battra grabbed them both and knocked their heads together, causing the laughter to stop.
"What are you idiots doing?" He asked.
"Ow... we were just having fun." Anguirus muttered, rubbing the side of his head.
"Listen, we don't have time for this." Godzilla said. "Dogzilla just started chasing something into the forest. We think it might be something dangerous."
Mothra nodded. The others seemed confused.
"What would he be chasing?" Rodan asked.
"I'm not sure." Mothra shook her head.
"Well we won't find out if it's this dark." Battra said. He touched two fingers to the crest on his headband, and it began to glow a bright golden light. It was much easier to see now, but rather than seeing the others happy with the situation, Battra noticed they seemed frightened by something. Something behind him. He raised an eyebrow.
"...What?" He asked.
"Battra. Do not turn around." Godzilla said, slowly backing away. Battra was getting nervous now. Ignoring what Godzilla said, he slowly turned around. Behind him was something he did not expect to see. It wasn't an animal, but it wasn't a human either. It certainly wasn't a Kaiju. It appeared to be at least 10 feet tall, with brown fur covering its entire body. Its head resembled an angry dog, or more accurately, a wolf, with glowing yellow eyes. It's long arms were big and muscular, and ended in long claws. Its legs were similar, and bent like a canine's back legs. A ragged tail swished back and forth behind it. It growled at Battra as he quickly backed away from it.
"What in the..." Battra began.
"Run!" Godzilla shouted, interrupting him. The others didn't have to be told twice. All five of them ran away from the monster, who let out a loud wolf-like howl. But Mothra heard something else along with the howling. She heard whimpering, like a frightened dog. Her eyes widened.
"Dogzilla!" She gasped. She turned around and held out her hand. She summoned a small amount of energy, which acted as a light source. She saw the monster again, which was now lumbering towards them. She now saw it was holding something in its hand. That something was Dogzilla. Mothra wasn't scared anymore. Now, she was just angry. She threw the ball of energy at the monster. As it struck it in the face, the ball exploded, both temporarily blinding the monster and illuminating the area a little bit more. Mothra then ran towards the monster, making Godzilla stop and reach for her.
"Mothra, no!" He called. But it was too late. Mothra drew her knife and flew towards the monster.
"Take your claws off my puppy!" She ordered. She slashed her knife across the monsters chest, causing it to roar and keel over in pain. It also made him drop Dogzilla. The dog Kaiju ran towards Mothra a leapt into her arms. She immediately forgot about the monster and began snuggling the dog close to her.
"I'm so glad your safe!" She said. The dog licked her face and barked happily in response. But the monster wasn't done yet. It brought itself back up and roared directly in Mothra's face. Her adrenaline left her, and her eyes widened in fear. She couldn't even scream as the monster wrapped its arms around Mothra's body, lifting her in the air. Luckily, Dogzilla was able to leap out of her grasp before he was grabbed too. He began barking at the monster and growling in anger. Godzilla wasn't too happy either. He drew his katana again and ran towards the creature. Unfortunately, the light from Mothra's energy dissipated before he could reach them. Battra ran over to where Godzilla was standing, and activated his own light from the crest on his headband, but by then it was too late. The monster, and Mothra, were gone. Dogzilla whimpered at Godzilla's feet.
"What was that thing?" Anguirus asked. "It looked like a werewolf or something."
"Nah, that looked more like the wolfman to me." Rodan corrected.
"Those are the same thing you idiots." Battra snapped at them. He turned back to Godzilla. "Whatever it was, we need to find out where it went before it eats Mothra."
Godzilla nodded. "It couldn't have left the island. I'll keep looking here. You guys go back to the others and tell them to help search."
Battra, Anguirus, and Rodan nodded, and ran out of the forest. Godzilla looked back to Dogzilla, who was still whimpering sadly. He knelt down and pet him.
"I know, buddy. Don't worry. We'll find her." He said.
