Love is in the air
But I don't give a care
Love is unfair
Even leads you to despair
Love's fiery eternal flame
Shall burn your soul to shame
Every broken heart
Shall tear your conscience apart
The ghosts from the past
Come running fast
They've come to haunt you
Because your words weren't always true
Secrets are revealed
Yet you've kept your lips sealed
You've tricked innocent souls in town
In their tears they drown
Love pains me so deep
And it always gives me the chill
To love and be loved again,
Is made possible in God's will

Would y'all believe that my 5th grade self wrote this poem? I was fixing my room when I came across this old project of mine. And I was like, oh this is some cringe-y sht right here. But I still ended up posting it here anyways.
So, thoughts on this one? Don't be silent readers, I would like to read about what you think. 😄
