I was cold,
you were heat.
and your warmth
penetrated my soul. You were just a flame
that lit up a candle,
But what I never saw coming
was the wildfire you became. You melted my
ice cold heart
and ignited warmth
within me that flowed
through my veins.Yet you were also water,
a deep cerulean blue
looking so peaceful
but you were just as harmful,
And I had no clue. When you left,
you doused the fire
you created within me
Leaving me with embers
of a broken heartI wasn't cold,
Nor warm.
I was just
there,empty.
