I get to school, on time as usual.
Day went on as usual, until 7-8 period. English. Blocked schedule.
2 police officers show up to my class, asking to see me.
My heart starts beating fast, I thought i was going to endure a heart attack,
Fear starts rising up in the pit of my stomach,
tears start to form in my eyes, and I couldn't get out of my seat, my feet glued to the ground.
But, next thing I know i'm getting up and walking towards them.
At this point i'm not in my body, I'm just watching myself walk towards them confidently.
They ask me to get my things, and things out of my locker.
Now I'm back in my body and I ask "Why? What's going on"
They look at each other and then at me.
The slightly younger one tells me "Nevermind, just come with us"
Still confused, I do what they say. The feeling of fear is still there.
All these scenarios playing in my head, suddenly a rush of guilt shoots through me.
What did you do to my mom? Why did I leave her alone after what happened last night?
We finally reach the counselors office..
