"Shawn Peter, I swear if you don't pick up your sweaty clothes off the floor," I yelled out to the other side of the house.

I heard footsteps down the hallway, and my exhausted husband came into sight.

"Sorry, baby. I forgot they were there," he said as he went down and picked them up.

"I didn't say you had to come in here right now. I didn't mean to interrupt you," I said.

"Don't worry about it. I wanted to come in here. I need a break, and I wanted to see how you were feeling," he told me as he placed his hands on my waist.

"I would be doing better if this little freeloader wasn't kicking my organs," I sighed jokingly.

"She was kicking me in the stomach last night," Shawn said with a yawn, "Did you sleep last night?"

"Not really. I got a little bit more than the night before though," I responded.

Shawn moved his hands onto my belly and bent down to where my stomach was eye level. He lifted my shirt up to lightly tap on my stomach. Almost as soon as he went to rest his hand on my stomach, she kicked exactly where his hand was in the process of moving to. Shawn jumped back and shrieked.

"She hates me. I'm telling you. My own daughter hates me," he said, standing back up.

"What a drama queen," I scoffed.

Shawn scoffed back at me and led me over to our couch. He motioned for me to sit down, so I did. I raised an eyebrow at him, which in return I got a shrug.

"I just wanna talk to her," he said.

I smiled as he lied down and placed his head on my lap. He looked up at me, smiling.

"What?" I asked.

"You amaze me. You're pregnant and sleep deprived, but you still manage to look so effortlessly beautiful," he complimented.

"You're sweet, Mendes," I said, running my fingers with his brown curls.

Shawn pulled my shirt up again and placed his hands on my stomach. He moved his hands around until he felt a movement.

"There's my baby," he cooed.

He began to poke and tickle my belly. I giggled and began to feel movement.

"Shawn, Shawn, Shawn!" I excitedly said, slapping his hand.

He looked up at me as I moved his hands to where I felt the movement. Shawn laughed before grinning at me.

"I love how excited you get whenever she moves. You act like it's never happened before," he said.

"Well, she only started moving less than a week ago, and I'm just happy because she's healthy," I reasoned.

"She's so lucky to have you as her mom," he commented as he kissed my stomach and sat up.

"And she's going to have you for a father. You know, I still find it hard to believe sometimes that I'm carrying Shawn Mendes' baby," I told him.

"Who else would it have been?" He asked, jokingly.

"Well, I always thought Ethan Dolan was hot. He could have my children," I joked back.

"Hey, do you remember that one time that you went out to lunch with him, and it was all over the Internet that you were cheating on me? I literally cried laughing," Shawn said, beginning to cry laughing again.

"Why is that so funny?" I scoffed.

"You can barely get out a sentence whenever you are around him. You even texted me how nervous you were," he replied.

"What if I was nervous because I was about to have an affair with him?" I asked.

"I trust you enough to know better than that. You would never do that," he answered, "Now, are you ready to go see mis padres?"

"Vamonos, bebé," I grinned.

Shawn grabbed my hand and his keys as we walked out the door and to our car. Once we got in the car, he started the engine and pulled out of our driveway. His phone connected to the car's Bluetooth and began to play "All We Got". Shawn squeezed my thigh and grinned over at me. We both sang the intro, and let's just say we had rehearsed this a couple of times.

"This ain't no intro, this the entree
Hit that intro with Kanye and sound like André
Tryna turn my baby mama to my fiancée," he sang the last line looking at me.

"She like music, she from Houston like Auntie Yoncé
Man, my daughter couldn't have a better mother," he sang again, moving his hand to my stomach and back.

Being his baby mama made me so happy, and I could not wait to meet our daughter.
