The game

Me and my mom got in the car I had shorts and a big tee shirt on we parked the car and got out.

"Ok I'll find our seats you can look for -"

"OMG Jessica is that you." She ran and hugged me.

"Hey Ms. Diana." My mom waved.

"I can't believe you came." She said smiling.

"Oh course Alexa that's what friends do." She smiled.

"Friends." I nodded.

"Okay well I have to get out there I hope you enjoy the game." She walked away I smiled her hair flying in the wind.

I turned to find my mom I saw her sitting by Vanessa I walked over to them.

"Vanessa what are you doing here?" I asked.

"My mom thought it would be nice if I spent time outside the hospital, she didn't want me to see her like that." She put her head down.

I smiled and grabbed her hand. She took my hand in hers we were holding hands. I looked up and smiled at her nodding.

"It's going to work itself out nessa." She nodded and smiled. I let go of her hand

"So what team we rooting for." My mom put the popcorn in her mouth.

"The one that Alexa's on." She said.

"Mom!" I said grabbing the popcorn out of her hand Vanessa grabbed some.

"Wait, Alexa as in mean rich bitch who tormented you." Me and my mom nodded.

"That's the one." My mom said.

"Is this some kind of joke." I shook my head.

"She so much more different when you get to really know her and see why she acts like that she's a really cool and goofy person." I said eating my popcorn.

"She has this thing that she does when she's thinking to hard She bits her bottom lip and she loves to watch romantic movies." I laughed to myself. "And I think she likes Taylor Swift because she always listen to that 'call it what you want' song.  And get this her favorite movie is titanic."

I looked up at them and saw my mom and Vanessa looking at me smiling.

"What?"

"You so dig her." Nessa said.

I snatched the popcorn from her "I do not." She smiled.

"What ever."

"Well Finns going around telling people he slept with her is that true?" Nessa asked.

"No."I watched as Alexa scored three goals I clapped and my mom screamed.

The game was over I waved at her and she rolled her eyes.

What the hell was that about? My mom and Vanessa walked with me to congratulate her on her win.

My mom hugged her "I'm so proud of you, you did an amazing job." She smiled.

"Thanks." They walked to the car she looked at me and walked away i followed her.

"Alexa." I reached for her arm but she pulled back.

"Don't touch me!" She yelled.

I sighed "Okay what is your problem?"

"What's my problem?!! Why are you here? You don't really care about me." She yelled I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"I swear with you if it's not one thing it's another Alexa I'm here because I care!" I yelled back.

"It doesn't seem like that did you just come here to rub your relationship in my face!" I scoffed.

"What relationship?" I yelled.

"I saw you two holding hands." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"What? You mean Vanessa." I said.

"What ever her name is."

"My god your jealous."

"Ha what?! I don't get jealous?!" She said.

"Alexa you pushed me away Okay! You don't know how it feels to like someone who doesn't like you back if feels terrible and my intentions were to support a friend not make her jealous plus also we're friends, her moms in the hospital and I was comforting a friend." I said.

"Well bravo because you did the exact opposite. Okay yes, these few day with you have made me...... you know gain a crush on you and I thought that if I told you that I wasn't interested you would try harder...... Jessica I don't know what I'm doing and I've never really had feeling about someone and look now I'm rambling" she sighed throwing her hands down to her legs I walked closer to her and kissed her.

The kiss was long and sent tingles down my spine we continued, me trying to fight back a moan she rubbed her hands through my hair.

I pulled away she looked at me and smiled I put my arm around her.

"Just so you know Alexa when you like someone you don't tell them your not interested." She laughed.

"Noted."

"Do you wanna come over?" She asked me I smiled.

"Yea But let me handle someone first." I said smiling to myself.

My mom and Vanessa were leaning on the side of the car waiting for me. They smiled at me.

"I knew you digged her." Nessa said we laughed.
