Epilogue part II

"Hey? Where's my-" I handed her the stethoscope. She smiled and took it.

"And my-" I gave her her lunch and kissed her forehead.

"What would I do without you?" Alexa asked I shrugged.

"I love you have a nice day at work!" I yelled she closed the door and I quickly got dressed.

I had a surprise for her tomorrow and if I want everything to go as planned I need to get ready now.

I left the house and went to the ring store.

"Hi how may I help you." I smiled.

"I wanna propose to my girlfriend. The thing is I want this ring to take her breath away." The man smiled.

"I have just the ring your looking for follow me." He showed me the perfect ring.

"Yes I love it. I'll take it." He smiled and checked me out I left the store and drove to the restaurant.

"Hey Jessica." Amelia said. Amelia is one of the friends we met at the lesbian club we go to. We met her and her wife there. Amelia told us about a restaurant she owned which is pretty much the fanciest and biggest place in town.

Her wife Megan is a teacher she loves kids that's one of the mini things we talk about in book club a club that Alexa forced me into trying.

I hugged Amelia.

"Hey. I would like to make reservations." I said She smiled.

"A date?" I nodded.

"Something like that." She looked at me with a raised brow.

I pulled her to the side and showed her the ring.

"Ahhhh! OMG." She yelled spinning in circles and jumping up and down.

I rolled my eyes.

"Okay I'll get you the best table on the roof I'll even have a violin playing and...... fireworks!" She said happily.

I nodded "Thanks." She shook her head.

"I can't wait for the wedding I hope she wears-"

"How about after I ask her when you and her can start talking about wedding dresses and argue over the color of the wedding." She nodded.

I then walked out and looked at the time, it was around the time Alexa gets home so I rushed home.

I was standing right at the door when I got a call from josh, I hired him to work at the store.

"Hey josh what's up?"

"Jessica I messed up big time. How fast can you get here."

I waked Into the store and saw josh. He was looking at a painting.

"What's wrong?"

"The colors are wrong! He's gonna hate it." I laughed.

"Josh it's fine, you just need to add a little yellow to it and it'll take away from all of the blue you have in it." He nodded and let out a breath.

"Your a life saver jess. By the way Alexa called she says hurry home." I squinted and looked at him.

"She put you up to this didn't she?" I asked he smiled and shrugged.

"Oh she's good, she's trying surprise me isn't she?" I asked.

"Go home and find out."

I got in my car and drove home when I opened the door I saw rose petals on the floor I followed them and it led me to the bathroom.

Alexa had her hair in a bun and was in the tub.

"Welcome home honey." She said biting her lip.

I smiled "Come Join me." She didn't have to tell me twice I quickly got undressed and joined her.

She pulled the wine glasses and wine out.

"So you had josh keep me at work so that you could surprise me." She nodded and took a sip of her wine.

She then placed it down and moved closer to me. We had one of those hot tub type tubs so it was huge.

She then trailed kisses down my neck. I turned to face her and kissed her roughly my hands going to her hair making her bun fall down I continued to kiss her our tongues playing a game she wanted control but I didn't let her have it just yet. The kiss getting more intense she grabbed the sides of the tub knocking the wine glass in the tub along with the wine inside of the cup.

That didn't stop us She put her hands around my waist. We stopped catching our breaths She laughed.

"That was amazing." I smiled and nodded.

She looked at me "thanks for being patient with me for wanting to wait a little longer to have sex." I nodded.

"Of course babe I love you." She smiled.

"I love you too." She looked around the room and stared at something she gasped.

I looked in the direction she was looking and saw the ring box that was out of the pocket in my jacket pocket on the floor when I got undressed.

I lowly groaned and closed my eyes thinking of the next move.

She looked at me "yes." She said.

"You didn't even open the box." She shook her head.

"I don't care. Jessica I love you and I would love to marry you." I smiled.

She jumped on me and kissed me. She then got out of the tub and wrapped the towel around her she walked and grabbed the box.

I got out with her she opened it and gasped.

"I love it. Now let's talk about kids." She said.

"Huh?"

"We're gonna have five, no maybe twelve." She said walking out into the kitchen.

"How about we slow down there." She laughed.

"Have I told you I love you."

"Won't work this time Alexa." She laughed and kissed me.

"Maybe that will." I said.

"Oh Jessica I'm so ready to spend an eternity with you."
