***2 months later***
Colby and I became really close the past 2 months, we see each other almost everyday. He would always come 'round after work, because unlike me he did study for something. He became close with Corey, devyn, Elton and Aaron to.
They all knew about Colby and I's past, and about my crush on him. I recently found out it wasn't my brightest idea to tell them, mainly because they tend to like drop hits about me liking him.. with him in the room.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to be more than friends with Colby. It's just that I don't want them to like, push Colby to be with me because of our past. If Colby and I ever get together again I want it to be because he likes me, not because he feels like he has too.
"Colby's coming to help us set up the party." Corey said walking into my room, winking at me when he mentioned Colby. I rolled my eyes at him, but nodded.
"Sure what time is he going to be here?" I asked. My voice was rough and my throat hurt a bit, probably because I just woke up from my power nap.
"He's coming straight out of work so Probably around 5:30/6 pm, he's sleeping over after the party by the way." Corey explained, jumping on my bed starfish style.
"Alright. Wait where will he sleep? The guest room is full of stuff?" I asked coughing a bit, Corey just smirked at me. Pushing himself of my bed and standing up.
"He said he was okay with sleeping in your room... with you. Oh and I thinks there's a hole in the air bed.." he smiled widely before running out of my room. I just shook my head and focused back on editing the video I did with Colby this week. We had a pick up line contest, we both had awful pick up lines but I guess that made it fun.
I finished editing Around 5 pm, that's also when my head started hurting. I didn't think much of it, Just blaming it on the brightness of my laptop screen. I knew Colby finished with work at 5 so he probably would get here at 5:45. I joined Corey and Aaron who were playing MarioCard. I didn't play, closing my eyes for a bit as my headache worsened.
"You alright sam? You look kinda pale?" Aaron asked worriedly.
"Yeah I'm fine." I told him, I knew it wasn't completely true though. I have had this cough the whole day and ever since I woke up, my throat and head started hurting more, I knew I was probably getting sick. I didn't want them to worry though, they've all been so exited for this party I don't want to ruin it.
I watched them play for a bit, before standing up and going upstairs. I looked in the mirror seeing that I did look pale like Aaron told me. I sighing knowing that I couldn't do anything to make my self look less pale, I searched for some painkillers put I couldn't find any,. I went to my room grabbing the first thick sweater I could find, and putting it on.
When I came down stairs Colby was sitting on the beanbag, talking to Corey and Aaron.
"Hey." I greeted him softly, Colby smiled at me before petting on the spot beside him on the bean bag, I walked over plopping down beside him.
"So what's the plan?" Colby asked turning back to Corey and Aaron.
"Elton is getting some panda express on his way back from the gym, he'll probably be here around 7. Party starts at 9, so after dinner we'll just move some furniture, get some snacks an drinks set up." Corey explained, Colby nodded. we all talked for a bit and continued playing MarioCart, and by we I mean everyone except for me.
