3rd Pov. Avia

Avia stayed silent, as she had changed quickly as she had slipped on velvet orange bell bottoms. Her halter vest was a smooth dark creme color, that flattered her skin.
She slipped on a jacket that was a dark deep orange. She walked before Charles and Logan, Hank stayed behind to cut off cameras.

Avia stared at the camera, and touched her temple when she hid. Charles stared at her as she sent a message to Hank.

‘Now.’

She heard a quiet click, and stepped forward. She dodged around the guard in the door ahead of them, and they were left helplessly behind.

Avia felt Peter slip past her, and she went to touch him before he disappeared but pulled her hand back. Peter slowed and stared at her, she held her hand against her chest. Her face full of worry and angst, consequences from her possible movement.

Peter grabbed her neck, and sighed. She closed her eyes and felt her skin feel a pelt of wind. She gasped out, as Peter leaned against the elevator wall dressed in a guard uniform. She glanced around confused, and looked behind herself. The guard was hung against the corner wall of the elevator, by ducktape.

Avia rolled her lips, and covered her mouth to keep from laughing. She heard Peter chuckle at her expression, and she quickly stopped laughing and hid against the wall.

Peter stepped out with a tray of food, she listened to his footsteps as they passed away and stopped. The sound of the lock from the door popping open, made Avia erased the guard’s mind, and the elevator closed and brought her back to the meeting point.

Avia stepped out, as two guards looked at her. The guards growled, and pulled free their guns. Avia jumped, and grabbed the left’s head. She swung her legs up, and wrapped them around the right’s neck. They gasped for air, as Charles and Logan stared in shock.

The guard’s fell to their knees, their faces changing from red to purple.

“Let them go.” Charles ordered, and Avia gave him a warning with her eyes. She released them, and kicked their face, knocking them unconscious. She stood fully, and Charles and Logan stepped next to her. They waited for the elevator, as it dinged lightly.

“I’m sorry, I’m just nt very good with violence…” Charles said.

The doors opened, and they all glanced back at the elevator. Erik looked up, and his eyes landed on Charles, then to Avia.

“Avia?” Erik spoke, and Charles flung his fist against Erik’s jaw. Charles steamed of anger, as Avia was filled with mixed emotions.

She was happy to him, angry he let her, sad she did not remember him, excited to be with him again.

“Good to see you to, old friend. And walking.” Erik commented, as he held his jaw, but stared at Avia only. She looked away from him, and held an offensive stance.

“No thanks to you.” Charles spat, and Erik kept his gaze.

“You’re the last person in the world i expected to see today.” Erik said, and looked at Charles. Avia rolled her eyes, as Peter moved next to her.

“Believe me…. I wouldn’t be here if it didn’t have to. If you get out of here, we do it my way. No killing.” Charles said, and glanced back at Avia with the last words. Erik looked at her, then back to him.

“No helmet. I couldn’t disobey even if i wanted.” Erik said, and Charles took a step forward.

“I’m never getting inside of that head again. I need you word, Erik.” Charles asked, and he nodded, and moved to Avia. Peter defensively stepped in front of her, and she forced herself to keep her hands away.

He stared at Peter, as Avia finally spoke.

“Peter, it’s fine.” She said, softly, staring at Erik fully now.

“Erik I-”

“Nobody move! Hold it right there!”
