Ariana's P.O.V.
"Move slut!" shouted Hanna. I moved and let out a quiet sigh.
This was high school for me. Being constantly judged. Fun! Right? Note my sarcasm.
I moved to the back of the classroom by myself. I didn't have friends like everyone else. I did, once. But they turned on me.
You see in fresh-man year I had a massive crush on Nathan Sykes. The hottest guy in school. One night at a party I made a huge mistake. I slept with him. Now everyone hates me for having sex with him. Everyday I regret it.
"Okay now settle down kids. I have a lesson to teach" said Mrs.Glains
So, and so went the lesson. There then was a knock at the door.
A boy with brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes walked in.
"Um excuse me I'm Josh. I'm in this class." He half smiled
"Yes. Okay take out your history book and a piece of paper. You can sit.. um" she looked around, "Ah yes. Please go sit in the back with Ms.Grande." she gave him a warm smile
He walked to the table. As he walked by all the girls couldn't keep there eyes off him.
"Hey I'm Josh." He smiled at me sitting
"I'm Ariana" I said working on the assignment
"So how's this school like?" He asked
"I'm pretty sure you wouldn't wanna ask me" I said still looking at my paper
"Um okay" he said and started working on the assignment
Then rang the bell.
I quickly rushed thru the door. Now lunch ugh. I walked to a table in the corner and sat. I put in my ear phones and started listening to music and playing games on my phone.
"Hey can I sit with you?" I heard looking up to see Josh.
"Sure" I said taking off my earphones
"Sorry for being annoying its just that I'm new and I don't really know any one" he explained
"No, it's okay." I smiled
"Aren't you gonna eat anything? You can have my chips if you'd like" he offered
"No thanks, I'm not hungry" I declined
Then I saw Nathan walking to the table were we were.
"Hey I gotta go, see you later" I rushed trying to walk out of the cafeteria
Just as I thought it couldn't get worse Nathan stopped me.
"Sup Ariana. What's up babe?" he touched my face
"I'm not your babe. Leave me alone okay" I tried to walk away
"Na. Lets go to the janitors closet and get busy, AGAIN!" He laughed and everyone else joined
"LEAVE HER ALONE! YOU DICKHEAD!" Josh appeared
"Or what?" Questioned Nathan
"This!" Josh punched him in the face and then a fight between the both broke out
"STOP!! PLEASE STOP!" I shouted at the top of my lungs
2 teachers broke the fight and we were all sent to the office.
"Josh this is your first day and your already causing trouble?" Asked Mr.Ericks our principal
"It's not my fault some guys don't respect girls" Josh spoke up referring to Nathan
So all three of us ended up getting suspended for 3 days. I actually didn't mind at all, I hated this school so that explains.
"You may go now" Mr.Ericks excused us home
I walked down the school hallway, thru the doors and started walking home. I got out my phone and started listening to 'James Dean & Audrey Hepburn' by Sleeping with Sirens. It was one of my favorite songs. It calmed me down, relaxed me.
I started singing along.
'stay for the night if you want too, I can show you what my dreams are made of as I'm dreaming of your face..'
Then I heard someone calling out my name.
"Ariana! Ariana! Wait up!" Josh ran up to me
I took out my earphones and paused the song.
"Hey" I gave him a half smile
This was kinda weird. Talking to someone from school. I don't have friends. It felt awkward.
"Can I walk you home?" He asked. Okay now that was just really weird, a guy asking me to walk me home.
"Sure. I just wanted to say thank you for sticking up for me like you did. You didn't have too"
"Of coarse I had too. He was being an asshole. No girl should be treated like that." he smiled and I blushed
"Oh and sorry you got suspended on your first day." I apologized
"It okay, it was worth it" he said
